Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve Face Cream
(Play! By Sephora)

I really liked the way this cream sank into my skin and left it super soft and moisturized. This isn't a thick formula so it would cause your foundation to slide around. This literally dissolves right into the skin. The lotus scent smells a little like a cucumber, but it's not super strong either.

Morphe E6 Brush
 (MorpheMe)

It felt odd using this flat top foundation brush for my foundation. It's super soft and not that dense like other foundation brushes. I honestly didn't think I would like this brush, but I actually loved the way my foundation looked after applying it with this brush. When applying foundation with a flat top ,I normally stipple it on instead of rubbing with the brush. With this brush I had to rub it around, but it did the job and looked good!

Morphe M576, M577, M578 Brushes
(MorpheMe)

I apologize that these pictures don't show the the bristles of two of the brushes, but I used all three of the eye brushes that I got in my MorpheMe subscription and you can see better pictures of them in my unboxing blog that I'll link below.
I was pleasantly surprised by how much I really enjoyed using these eye brushes as well! They blended my eye look so well and they're definitely brushes I would use often!

Touch in Sol Metallist Liquid Foil & Glitter Shadow Duo
(Play! By Sephora)

I saw someone unbox this product on YouTube and hers was all dried out and I automatically was bummed just knowing mine probably was too. Mine, fortunately, is in excellent shape! This is a smaller sample, but with a product like this I feel that it would still last awhile. Applying this was easy (the liquid foil and then the glitter on top) and I just applied this on my lids. Sadly I did experience fall-out, but that's pretty common with any type of glitter.. I just wish I had done my eye makeup before my foundation.. My eyes looked really good and I got tons of inspiration for some glam looks using this product with how gorgeous it is!
The let down on this product was that it transferred after about 30 minutes to above my (ugh my hooded eyes) crease.

Sephora Crayon Contour Eye Pencil (01 Matte Black)
(Play! By Sephora)
Again, I apologize for being out of focus for this picture. I'm not sure what was going on with my camera and lighting this day. I wanted to keep my eyes brighter with this look, so I only put this black liner in my sightline. It glided on really nice and I didn't have to force it on. It's a good creamy formula. I didn't really watch to see how long it wore, so I'll have to try it on my waterline soon.

These two close up pictures were from an hour after applying my makeup. You can see where the glitter transferred above my crease.

Wander Beauty Wanderout Dual Lipstick (wanderberry)
(Play! By Sephora)

I absolutely love this formula of lipstick! I've already purchased a full size of one of these. The idea of having it be a dual lipstick so the actual top cap is in the middle of the product with a lipstick on each end is really cool to me. This color was stunning and is such a pretty holiday color as well! This helped make my look more glam-like.

Kiss Me Gloss (Single A.F.)
(LiveGlam Kiss Me)

I switched my lips to this gloss to tone the look down to more of a natural look and to also try out one of these Kiss Me lippies. I really love this gloss and the way it applied, but I'll be trying out some of their liquid lipsticks in future blogs.

Polish Me (Royal Reef)
(LiveGlam Polish Me)

The last product I wanted to mention is the nail polish I'm wearing in these pictures. This was one of the polishes I received this past month. With these duo chrome shades I had to apply 2-3 coats, but it dried down fast and wears normal like other polishes do. I tend to have chips here and there after a couple days of wearing any normal polish.

I was really impressed with what I got in my Play! By Sephora for this month along with my Ipsy Glam Bag (which I've already done a whole blog here).
I've enjoyed the subscriptions from LiveGlam, but I'm wanting to really test out the products more for the next couple of months to see if they're worth keeping. My thoughts as of now is I'm loving the Morphe brushes and I'm happy growing my brush collection. The kiss me products smell amazing and seem to have a good formula, but I'm really most interested in seeing how well they mix up the colors to really be able to say if I feel it's worth keeping. The polish me polishes I got are the only ones I'm not sure of.. I wish they would've switched it up more this month and not send all duo chrome at one time. I want to see how their other shades are, but if their formula is the same with 2-3 coats each and chipping within 2 days..In my opinion it's not worth the $20 for three nail polishes.

Tower 28 Beauty | Makeup

To the brand that has opened my eyes to a creative outlet while thinking of my skin all the time. Tower 28 Beauty has proved to me that you can have fun with makeup while taking your skin into consideration the entire time. While it's still fun to dip into all my other makeup I have found so much joy in my lightweight makeup ways. The shift happened after trying more cream products and Tower 28 has been one of them. I eyed the beauty of this brand for a while and then took the plunge with their cream bronzer, Bronzino in the shade Sun Coast (the lightest to go with my fair complexion), Beach Please Balm Blush in the shade Power Hour , and a couple of their ShineOn Lip Jellies (Almond & Cashew) .  Their creams are balms so you get a full shine to your look. They not only make your skin look glossy and healthy but also vibrant with the pigment. The blushes really pack a punch in pigment and can be worn as a flush of color or built-up. The bronzer is a little less pigmented th

Beauty Tuesday

For my first " Beauty Tuesday", I thought I would start it off with my May Ipsy bag. If you're not familiar with Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription bag with 4-5 full and/or sample size beauty products. This June marks two years that I've received a bag. Even though some bags are hit or miss, I've continued to be subscribed so I can try out new items. I feel like Ipsy has really upped their game this year and I've loved every bag I've gotten. I'll be sharing my bag with you every month with my own personal review of the bag itself, and each product in it. I'll also blog about how certain makeup wears, feels, and my own opinion of the product. The same for skincare products, and how they work with my skin type.  I hope you enjoy my May 2017 Glam Bag (If you're interested in subscribing to Ipsy's monthly Glam Bag, I'll post the link down below). I'm more into Ipsy for the actual products and not the bags, but I'll admit the ba

Alamar Cosmetics Spanglish | Makeup

I've been loving Alamar since it started and I love to see how far they have come. It's an indie brand I will always recommend so to then get their products in Boxycharm or Boxy Pop Up sales its a win win! That's how I got my Spanglish palette . You can already see this is an Ally palette by the purples! It's a gorgeous one with buttery mattes and stunning metallics. I also appreciate the subtle browns while also having the pops of color too. I found the color story pretty, but also odd. It's not one you see a lot but it does work. I have also found myself creating unique shades by mixing shades together. It's definitely a cute summer moment that you won't be disappointed with.  Swatches left to right: Pero Like, Eres Un Show, Tiene Swing, Guao, Ay Que Cute, Jajaja, Muy Excited, & Ponte Hyper.  Did you miss these blogs?  Lizzie McGuire x ColourPop | Makeup KVD Beauty Edge of Reality | Makeup Beautbean x Shroud It's Freakin' Bats | Makeup I als
