Recent New Primers // Makeup

Recent New Primers // Makeup I've been on a primer mission these last few months and I honestly haven't been disappointed in any of these options. I wanted to share my thoughts with you and this is coming completely from someone with combo-to-dry skin, but I'll include which ones I think would work for your skin type too. I can say most of these work better for normal to dry, but there are still options here.  Unicorn Glow Hydrating Primer I got both of these deluxe samples in an Ipsy add-on months ago. They're both in tubes (even the full-size bottles)  that just squeeze out. The nice part is they're handy to travel with and you can cut the tubes to make sure you get every last bit of product. The full-size tubes come with 1.06 fl oz which is slightly more than the usual 1fl oz for only $12! I had never tried (or heard of) Unicorn Glow so I was excited to try this brand. The Hydrating Primer comes in the tube with blue writing and is th

Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Vol. 2 // Makeup

Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Vol. 2 // Makeup Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Vol. 2   Another Morphe x Jaclyn Hill palette to start the hype...and the drama... I thought what could go wrong with a full size (non "vault") palette with the promise of the original formula? I don't think it is that easy for Jaclyn anymore. Although I feel like the heat should've been given more to Morphe for adding ingredients that weren't in the first palette to "improve" the already amazing formula... Jaclyn I feel should've been more involved with it especially with how her last few launches have gone. With that being said I did mention in my First Impressions that I didn't really see this being the exact formula anyways. There are so much more vibrant shades in Vol. 2 and the fact that most are pressed pigments. I did enjoy playing with this palette. I still wanted that OG formula especially with the neutrals and because of that Vol. 1 will always be my favorite.

Lunar Beauty Moon Spell // Makeup

Lunar Beauty Moon Spell // Makeup   The collection that has had my attention since October of last year. Even though I can come off as a bright person I think I've always loved dark things. The vibe this collection gives is incredible. It makes me miss Halloween time while also making me look forward to the next. This collection has shades that go with all year so you could potentially feel the "Halloween vibes" anytime! Moon Spell Palette If the packaging wasn't already doing it for me the shades in this scream my name. I mean look at those purples! It is such a pretty color story and offers unique shades of purple, green, and blues. Neutrals are a given as well! With 9 mattes and 6 metallics, you can achieve so many day and night time looks! The mattes are pigmented, but I felt I had a little more of a buildable formula with this palette over the Strawberry Dream palette. The metallics are as beautiful as ever from Lunar Beauty.
