Alexandrite | Gemstone Series

Alexandrite | Gemstone Series   To finish out this series I have the beautiful Alexandrite shade. I had so much fun creating this look as alexandrite shifts between purples and greens. I'm so excited to be closing out this series, but also sad it is over. I will have all parts linked below if you missed any and a new series will be coming soon! xo  *If this is the first gemstone look you have seen the others will be linked below, but the idea is creating looks based on gemstones every week and the challenge (not really) using the ColourPop So Jaded palette to create the eye look.  ✖️Brows:  Tarte Cosmetics Busy Gal Brows (Taupe) ✖️Eyes:  Mac Cosmetics Paint Pot (Painterly)  ColourPop So Jaded Palette (Pearl, Geo Dude, Jade, & Alexandrite) Pretty Vulgar Faux Reals Mascara I took the  Geo Dude  shade through my crease as a transition and then highlighted the brow bone and inner corner with  Pearl .  Then the  Jade  shade was used to pull the green from  Alexandrite  to the loo

Melt Cosmetics x Beetlejuice | Makeup

Melt Cosmetics x Beetlejuice | Makeup   Being the huge Beetlejuice lover I am. How could I not be so excited for this?! These are actually my first palettes from Melt Cosmetics . A brand I have always wanted to try, but never have. I am pretty happy with this purchase for different reasons such as the color stories to the formula but I want to talk about both palettes in this post today. The rest I will leave below.  The Waiting Room Palette   Besides being a collectors buy I honestly told myself I didn't have a palette like this in my collection. Sure I could "shop my stash" and probably build a close palette to this, but I didn't have one put together already like this one. Plus the w

The 5: Primers | Makeup

The 5: Primers | Makeup I've been seeing a lot of spit fire speed reviews on  YouTube  recently and while I have done that type of video myself...I thought it could be a really fun series over here on my blog as I go through my collection and share 5 of each category and my speed run reviews on them. My normal makeup blog posts on palettes I've been doing will still be coming every other week in between these. Today we're kicking it off with primer because like NilkkiTutorials says "not to prime is a crime."  ColourPop Pretty Fresh Hyaluronic Hydrating Primer   I quickly fell in love with this affordable primer from  ColourPop . I mean who wasn't stoked about their  Pretty Fresh  line?! I unfortunately, soon found out my skin couldn't take the amount of coconut oil that is in their tinted moisturizer in that line, but for some reason I can handle this primer and the setting spray. So if you had the same issues and you're afraid to try this primer bec
