Kylie Cosmetics x Stormi // Makeup

Kylie Cosmetics x Stormi // Makeup Today I have a whole collection instead of just a palette so bear with me because this may be a little longer than my usual makeup post.  The Stormi x Kylie collection is so adorable! A fun fact about me is that growing up I absolutely loved butterflies. I remember a dark time in my childhood when I saw a beautiful butterfly and wished I could be that beautiful and fly away with it. That went deep fast, but butterflies are a peaceful view to me now because I finally was able to fly away. So the butterflies stole my heart with this collection. If you're interested make sure to check out my First Impressions and 4 Looks 1 Palette on this collection!  Stormi Palette This palette is a beautiful everyday spring palette for me. It has purples so that already wins me over. It has beautiful neutrals and a stunning highlight shade. I feel a little limited because you mainly can only do a purple or peach look and change it up with add

ABH Norvina Vol. 1 // Makeup

ABH Norvina Vol. 1 // Makeup Norvina Vol. 1 This is such a beautiful spring palette! I bought this palette to start off my collection of the Norvina palettes. I was so torn because they're all so beautiful but I started at the beginning with Vol. 1.  Although these palettes are expensive and more than their usual palettes I like that you get 25 good quality shades at a decent cost. I like the idea of the shade names, but I think it would have been nice to have unique names for each shade from Norvina. This is a pressed pigment palette so the pay off is insane! The mattes blend incredibly well for the pigmentation. The metallics are nice but seemed a little sheerer than the normal metallics I get in their other palettes. They're still gorgeous built upon the eye with a finger or damp brush. Although a couple dark shades were a little difficult to blend together and ended up patchy in areas. I haven't had that issue again with any other shades. I think it w

Ace Beaute Scarlet Dusk Palette // Makeup

Ace Beaute Scarlet Dusk Palette // Makeup   Scarlet Dusk Palette This is my second palette from Ace Beaute, but not my last! I was left with mixed emotions after their last one I tried. It was a doable palette, but not a favorite formula of mine. I kept in mind that that palette was exclusive through Boxycharm which can sometimes make the quality less, unfortunately. If it is a palette a brand already has launched then I usually don't have any issues, but when "exclusive" is in the mix with subscriptions it's not always a good thing.  Although their new Dawn to Dusk collection was in Boxycharm they are also their actual new palettes on their site (link above). What I noticed about this palette versus the last one was that the mattes, 8 of them, are still super pigmented, but blended so much easier than the other palette's mattes.  The metallics are still a drier formula, but they're much more buttery in this palette than what I remember in

Beauty Bakerie Proof is in the Puddin' // Makeup Monday

Beauty Bakerie Proof is in the Puddin' // Makeup Monday It's Monday already?! Happy Makeup Monday!  I'm catching it rather late this Monday so this one will be on the shorter side which is perfect for this palette because I've talked so much about it already in my First Impressions , 2 Looks 1 Palette and FabFitFun Winter Box blog post! You can for sure check out my thoughts there on this neutral palette because not much has changed. I haven't reached for it again... I do mainly blame it on the neutrals that I normally don't go for and if I do I use my favorite neutrals. This is a nine pan neutral with 5 mattes and 4 metallics. The mattes are pretty and can be built up. You really have to build them up to have any pigment. I don't mind it because I'm used to shadows like so, but it's not a go-to formula for me. The metallics are more of a sheer formula with not as much pay off as I would like. The longevity is nice, the packaging is cut
