ColourPop x Nightmare Before Christmas | Makeup

It dawned on me that there are still makeup collections from last year that I haven't even mentioned here. Some I'm willing to look past and not worry about but the new faves have to be mentioned. So if you notice some older collections... Don't mind me! This one is worth the mention. I was super stoked about this collab. I mean so many collection opportunities come in the beauty world but it always comes down to who/what company has been chosen. Ha! That sadly, happened a lot last year with so many that could've really been something. That is why I was so happy to end out the year with a love of mine, 'The Nightmare Before Christmas' and a brand like ColourPop that would do it justice. I do think the aesthetic could've been a little more. I wish it even came more geared towards Halloween instead of Christmas, but once I had it in my hands I had to give props to ColourPop. It is an insanely beautiful collection. I still crave more grunge in shade choices, b

Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Dew Drops | Skincare

Only a couple of serums have ever really blown me away and for the most part, they do happen to be niacinamide serums like this one. I've been a long-time fan of  Glow Recipe  (especially their  Watermelon Glow  line) but I have to say I went into trying this  Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Dew Drops Serum  knowing I probably would like it. The packaging is 10/10 (also have to note their Terra-cycle program that allows you to recycle every bit of the packaging back to them) with a pump, the slight scent from this line smells amazing, the consistency is nice, and it feels amazing on my skin.  With the first wear you notice a glow to your skin but what shocked me was the results I was seeing on day three that lingered without applying the actual product yet. I've been using it for 2+ months as my morning serum and I haven't found any serum that works this well with my skin. With my dryness, I typically use a hyaluronic serum at night time. This morning serum has left lasting res

Pixi Beauty H2O Skin Tint | Review

In my rabbit hole of skin tints, I tried last year, the Pixi Beauty H2O was on the list. I hadn't heard much about it and then stumbled across it while browsing in Target . I decided to give it a shot although the shade range was on the small side. It's the ordeal of the Target store just carrying a certain amount instead of caring to make sure they have the full range for everyone. But in total the shade range is 16 shades which isn't horrible for a skin tint but also means everyone probably has a one-shot to find your shade. You may end up having to go with a hair too light or a hair too dark, like myself. The lightest the Target had was the shade, Cream, which is the second to lightest. I later found they had a shade, Fair, that is a tad lighter but I'm sure would work much better for me since this current is just off by a little.  The Deets:  $24 16 shades,  Paraben-free, cruelty-free, and s uitable for all skin types. It is a water-based gel tint that evens out

KKW Fragrance Opals | Fragrance

At this point when am I not excited for a KKW Fragrance launch? But these opals are gorgeous! I couldn't pass them up. Opal Energy -  Floral Woody "We are introduced to this fragrance through a kaleidoscope of color from bright lemon and bold ginger. At its heart, a bouquet of tuberose, orange flower, and tender Muguet complements sandalwood, earthen patchouli, and vanilla musk." Top: Lemon Oil Orpur®, Ginger Extract CO2 Orpur ® , Pear Anjou Heart: Tuberose Natsublim ® , Orange Flower, Muguet Base: Sandalwood Orpur ® , Patchouli Orpur ® , Cedarwood Orpur ® , Vanilla Musks This scent sprung on me! My first initial sniff straight from the bottle had me feeling this wasn't going to be a scent for me. It's not that it's terrible, but not for me. Then came the day to wear it so I could see how it blends with the warmth of my skin. I quickly found out how fast I judged this scent. The first burst of lemon and ginger hit you but the heart of it comes fast into play.
