Garnet | Gemstone Series

 Garnet | Gemstone Series

I promise to do better with my next blog look series (which is only 2-3 weeks away!) haha... But I'm back at this one with just one more to go after this. It's the very end of January and it only makes sense to make sure I get Garnet done before this month is over. xo

*If this is the first gemstone look you have seen the others will be linked below, but the idea is creating looks based on gemstones every week and the challenge (not really) using the ColourPop So Jaded palette to create the eye look.

✖️Brows:

Tarte Cosmetics Busy Gal Brows (Taupe)

✖️Eyes:

Mac Cosmetics Paint Pot (Painterly)
ColourPop So Jaded Palette (Royal Jewels, Moonstone, & Garnet)
Tarte Cosmetics Big Ego Mascara
Hank & Henry Slick With It Liner (Blickity Black) *not pictured - oops

I first took Royal Jewels in my crease as a transition. Then I highlighted the inner corner and brow bone with Moonstone. Garnet I used on the outer corner and although I wanted it to be the main of this look.. I couldn't help it and I added more of the Moonstone to the look and just look at this shade on my lids! Stunning!

✖️Face:
Dr. Brandt Luminizer Primer
ColourPop Pretty Fresh Tinted Moisturizer (Fair 1N)
Tarte Cosmetics Shape Tape Concealer (Fair)
Laura Mercier Setting Powder
Morphe Brontour (Glitterati) &
8C Cool Pro Blush Palette
ABH x Amrezy Highlighter
Morphe Continuous Setting Mist

✖️Lips:

ColourPop Creme Lux Lipstick (Snow White)

It may have been a bold move adding the red lip, but I'm obsessed! Oh, and I also added the wing.. It's been so long since I've done such a thick wing!.xo

Beauty Tuesday

For my first " Beauty Tuesday", I thought I would start it off with my May Ipsy bag. If you're not familiar with Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription bag with 4-5 full and/or sample size beauty products. This June marks two years that I've received a bag. Even though some bags are hit or miss, I've continued to be subscribed so I can try out new items. I feel like Ipsy has really upped their game this year and I've loved every bag I've gotten. I'll be sharing my bag with you every month with my own personal review of the bag itself, and each product in it. I'll also blog about how certain makeup wears, feels, and my own opinion of the product. The same for skincare products, and how they work with my skin type.  I hope you enjoy my May 2017 Glam Bag (If you're interested in subscribing to Ipsy's monthly Glam Bag, I'll post the link down below). I'm more into Ipsy for the actual products and not the bags, but I'll admit the ba

Ricky's Cult Crushes // May 2018

Ricky's Cult Crushes // May 2018  You may already know, but I moved all of my subscriptions to my beauty channel: AllyBrianne   You can check out my unboxings there of all of my monthly and seasonal subscriptions.  The reason I'm posting this blog today is because I just got this months Ricky's Cult Crushes in the mail last week. I planned on filming a quick unboxing to post Sunday, but my weekend got away from me so here we are. This is only my second month receiving this subscription. I'm up in the air about it honestly. Last months ( Ricky's Cult Crushes // April 2018 ) was a good box, but sadly the pans in the eyeshadow palette kept falling out! You can see all that business in the video! I was disappointed because the shadows were great.. The packaging not so much.  If you don't know what  Ricky's Cult Crushes is... It is a $11 (now $14, I'll explain) monthly subscription that has mainly beauty items. This is a subscription throug

August Ipsy Glam Bag

If you're not familiar with Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription bag with 4-5 full and/or sample sized beauty products. I've been getting one for two and an half  years  now. Even though some bags are hit or miss, I've continued to be subscribed so I can try out new items. I feel like Ipsy has really upped their game this year and I've loved every bag I've gotten. I'll be sharing my bag with you every month with my own personal review of the bag itself, and each product in it. The same for skincare products, and how they work with my skin type.  I hope you enjoy my August  2017 Glam Bag (If you're interested in subscribing to Ipsy's monthly Glam Bag, I'll post the link down below).   First of all, I normally do my Ipsy reviews a week earlier than this one is being put up. I don't know what took so long this month whether it was Ipsy or just USP
