Topaz/Citrine | Gemstone Series

 Topaz/Citrine | Gemstone Series

Once again another month has come and left me. Ha! Back at it again.. I wanted to get this look up in November, which is also my birthday month and birthstone, but once again time slipped away. I've never been a huge fan of my birthstone so I'm really surprised that this is probably my new favorite from this series! XO

*If this is the first gemstone look you have seen the others will be linked below, but the idea is creating looks based on gemstones every week and the challenge (not really) using the ColourPop So Jaded palette to create the eye look.

✖️Brows:

Benefit Cosmetics Goof Proof Brow Pencil (2)

Nyx Cosmetics Control Freak Clear Brow Gel

✖️Eyes:

Mac Cosmetics Paint Pot (Painterly)
ColourPop So Jaded Palette (Citrine, Pearl, Tiger Eye, & Topaz)
Tarte Cosmetics Big Ego Mascara

I took the shade Citrine through my crease to start this look and once blended it was such a beautiful mustard yellow!

I used Pearl on the brow bone and inner corner for this look and then I was eyeing the Tiger Eye shade and decided to make this look a halo eye.

Then I of course, had to use the Topaz shade right smack in the center.

✖️Face:
Milani Prime Light Primer
Purlisse Perfect Glow BB Cream (Fair)
Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer (Fair)
Ciate London Extraordinary Setting Powder
Tarte Cosmetics Tarteist Pro Glow To Go Palette &
Amazonian Clay Blush (Endless)
ColourPop All Star Setting Spray

✖️Lips:
Ofra Cosmetics Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick (Verona)

Tower 28 Beauty | Makeup

To the brand that has opened my eyes to a creative outlet while thinking of my skin all the time. Tower 28 Beauty has proved to me that you can have fun with makeup while taking your skin into consideration the entire time. While it's still fun to dip into all my other makeup I have found so much joy in my lightweight makeup ways. The shift happened after trying more cream products and Tower 28 has been one of them. I eyed the beauty of this brand for a while and then took the plunge with their cream bronzer, Bronzino in the shade Sun Coast (the lightest to go with my fair complexion), Beach Please Balm Blush in the shade Power Hour , and a couple of their ShineOn Lip Jellies (Almond & Cashew) .  Their creams are balms so you get a full shine to your look. They not only make your skin look glossy and healthy but also vibrant with the pigment. The blushes really pack a punch in pigment and can be worn as a flush of color or built-up. The bronzer is a little less pigmented th

Good Molecules Pure Cold-Pressed Rosehip & Silicone-Free Priming Moisturizer // Skincare

Good Molecules   If you watch my YouTube Channel you may be sick of me talking about this brand, but without a doubt they have become one of my top favorites. My collection of Good Molecules continues to grow of products I fall in love with, but for today's blog I wanted to talk about a couple of them. Good Molecules create products that work at an amazing price point, but they also have amazing ingredients. No this is not sponsored, but these products were sent to me. I've had these for a couple months now and wanted to fill you in on them. I will talk about the others in future skincare blogs, but I wanted to focus on these two products from Good Molecules. The rose hip oil and priming moisturizer. Pure Cold-Pressed Rosehip Seed Oil This is surprisingly the first rose hip oil I have ever tried. I've always seen that it is a great oil for dark spots, which I never really had until my cystic acne last year. This came right after that thankfully and ha

Beauty Tuesday

For my first " Beauty Tuesday", I thought I would start it off with my May Ipsy bag. If you're not familiar with Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription bag with 4-5 full and/or sample size beauty products. This June marks two years that I've received a bag. Even though some bags are hit or miss, I've continued to be subscribed so I can try out new items. I feel like Ipsy has really upped their game this year and I've loved every bag I've gotten. I'll be sharing my bag with you every month with my own personal review of the bag itself, and each product in it. I'll also blog about how certain makeup wears, feels, and my own opinion of the product. The same for skincare products, and how they work with my skin type.  I hope you enjoy my May 2017 Glam Bag (If you're interested in subscribing to Ipsy's monthly Glam Bag, I'll post the link down below). I'm more into Ipsy for the actual products and not the bags, but I'll admit the ba
