KKW Fragrance Opals | Fragrance

At this point when am I not excited for a KKW Fragrance launch? But these opals are gorgeous! I couldn't pass them up.

"We are introduced to this fragrance through a kaleidoscope of color from bright lemon and bold ginger. At its heart, a bouquet of tuberose, orange flower, and tender Muguet complements sandalwood, earthen patchouli, and vanilla musk."

Top: Lemon Oil Orpur®, Ginger Extract CO2 Orpur®, Pear Anjou

Heart: Tuberose Natsublim®, Orange Flower, Muguet

Base: Sandalwood Orpur®, Patchouli Orpur®, Cedarwood Orpur®, Vanilla Musks

This scent sprung on me! My first initial sniff straight from the bottle had me feeling this wasn't going to be a scent for me. It's not that it's terrible, but not for me. Then came the day to wear it so I could see how it blends with the warmth of my skin. I quickly found out how fast I judged this scent. The first burst of lemon and ginger hit you but the heart of it comes fast into play. The blend of the top and heart are quite lovely but what I really love about this scent is hours later you smell the warmth of it. The base sandalwood, cedarwood, and the sweetness of vanilla. It's sensual, woody, and cozy. I absolutely love it.

Opal Mood - Fruity Floral

"Glowing citrus and dewy fruit blend with sheer jasmine, fresh freesia, and honeysuckle nectar to create a luminous feminine heart. Creamy sandalwood, silk musk, and cedarwood wrap this scent in sensuality."

Top: Bergamot Oil, Starfruit Delight, Melon Dew, Golden Currant

Heart: Jasmine Absolute Orpur®, Fresh Freesia, Honeysuckle Nectar, Karmaflor®

Base: White Amber, Sandalwood, Silk Musk, Cedarwood Orpur

This one is definitely the strongest floral out of the three. The top is floral and the heart is floral so you have to expect that punch but the honeysuckle comes through as a touch of sweetness. You also get the lingering notes from the base of amber, musk, and a woody touch. This isn't my typical go-to scent but I do enjoy the sweet woody notes. I think this would make a beautiful spring scent.

Opal Drip - Gourmand Woody

"Opening with dewy greens and calming lavender, a peaceful medley of tagete petals, white jasmine, and waterlily wash over your senses, while sugared amber, grounding oakmoss and a halo of musk unfold in the background."

Top: Citrus Cocktail, Dewy Greens, Lavender

Heart: Tagete, Sheer Jasmine, Waterlily

Base: Sugared Amber, Oak Moss, Musk

This one originally was the first I smelled and thought would be my favorite. After wearing each of them I find myself enjoying Opal Energy the most at this time. This one is really nice but what is unusual is that I really like the top the most. I normally love the base once it warms up with the skin. The top of this one is so fresh but has a twist to it that I enjoy with the lavender and citrus mixed. The heart makes it more floral but on the lighter side. Once it warms up the base leaves a sweet soft musk that wraps it up nicely. It is a really pretty scent that I could see myself reaching for in the spring a lot. It's light enough for day wear but once it warms up I think it makes a nice night scent too.

Beauty Tuesday

For my first " Beauty Tuesday", I thought I would start it off with my May Ipsy bag. If you're not familiar with Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription bag with 4-5 full and/or sample size beauty products. This June marks two years that I've received a bag. Even though some bags are hit or miss, I've continued to be subscribed so I can try out new items. I feel like Ipsy has really upped their game this year and I've loved every bag I've gotten. I'll be sharing my bag with you every month with my own personal review of the bag itself, and each product in it. I'll also blog about how certain makeup wears, feels, and my own opinion of the product. The same for skincare products, and how they work with my skin type.  I hope you enjoy my May 2017 Glam Bag (If you're interested in subscribing to Ipsy's monthly Glam Bag, I'll post the link down below). I'm more into Ipsy for the actual products and not the bags, but I'll admit the ba

Ricky's Cult Crushes // May 2018

Ricky's Cult Crushes // May 2018  You may already know, but I moved all of my subscriptions to my beauty channel: AllyBrianne   You can check out my unboxings there of all of my monthly and seasonal subscriptions.  The reason I'm posting this blog today is because I just got this months Ricky's Cult Crushes in the mail last week. I planned on filming a quick unboxing to post Sunday, but my weekend got away from me so here we are. This is only my second month receiving this subscription. I'm up in the air about it honestly. Last months ( Ricky's Cult Crushes // April 2018 ) was a good box, but sadly the pans in the eyeshadow palette kept falling out! You can see all that business in the video! I was disappointed because the shadows were great.. The packaging not so much.  If you don't know what  Ricky's Cult Crushes is... It is a $11 (now $14, I'll explain) monthly subscription that has mainly beauty items. This is a subscription throug

August Ipsy Glam Bag

If you're not familiar with Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription bag with 4-5 full and/or sample sized beauty products. I've been getting one for two and an half  years  now. I don't know what took so long this month whether it was Ipsy or just USP
