Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Dew Drops | Skincare

Only a couple of serums have ever really blown me away and for the most part, they do happen to be niacinamide serums like this one. I've been a long-time fan of Glow Recipe (especially their Watermelon Glow line) but I have to say I went into trying this Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Dew Drops Serum knowing I probably would like it. The packaging is 10/10 (also have to note their Terra-cycle program that allows you to recycle every bit of the packaging back to them) with a pump, the slight scent from this line smells amazing, the consistency is nice, and it feels amazing on my skin.

With the first wear you notice a glow to your skin but what shocked me was the results I was seeing on day three that lingered without applying the actual product yet. I've been using it for 2+ months as my morning serum and I haven't found any serum that works this well with my skin. With my dryness, I typically use a hyaluronic serum at night time. This morning serum has left lasting results and the week I slacked on my skincare I noticed a huge difference in my skin and then the amazing difference once again when I started this product back up. I love exploring new skincare and rarely feel strongly about not wanting to let go of a current for something new but I do with this one. I haven't been able to put this one down (I've almost finished a whole bottle of it!) for a new one since starting it!

I have combo-to-dry skin, acne-prone (especially hormonal and around period time), and slightly sensitive. This product has mixed so well in my routine with no issues. It gives an instant glow to the skin but continues to deliver it over time. I'm telling you by a week's time your skin will be glowing without trying. The niacinamide also works to reduce hyperpigmentation and has also helped fade my acne marks. It absorbs instantly into the skin but the cool part is it can be worn like a typical serum under moisturizer or over top to leave a sheer glow to your skin.

It is such a beautiful product and one I will keep as a holy grail. xx

Beauty Tuesday

For my first " Beauty Tuesday", I thought I would start it off with my May Ipsy bag. If you're not familiar with Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription bag with 4-5 full and/or sample size beauty products. This June marks two years that I've received a bag. Even though some bags are hit or miss, I've continued to be subscribed so I can try out new items. I feel like Ipsy has really upped their game this year and I've loved every bag I've gotten. I'll be sharing my bag with you every month with my own personal review of the bag itself, and each product in it. I'll also blog about how certain makeup wears, feels, and my own opinion of the product. The same for skincare products, and how they work with my skin type.  I hope you enjoy my May 2017 Glam Bag (If you're interested in subscribing to Ipsy's monthly Glam Bag, I'll post the link down below). I'm more into Ipsy for the actual products and not the bags, but I'll admit the ba

Ricky's Cult Crushes // May 2018

Ricky's Cult Crushes // May 2018  You may already know, but I moved all of my subscriptions to my beauty channel: AllyBrianne   You can check out my unboxings there of all of my monthly and seasonal subscriptions.  The reason I'm posting this blog today is because I just got this months Ricky's Cult Crushes in the mail last week. I planned on filming a quick unboxing to post Sunday, but my weekend got away from me so here we are. This is only my second month receiving this subscription. I'm up in the air about it honestly. Last months ( Ricky's Cult Crushes // April 2018 ) was a good box, but sadly the pans in the eyeshadow palette kept falling out! You can see all that business in the video! I was disappointed because the shadows were great.. The packaging not so much.  If you don't know what  Ricky's Cult Crushes is... It is a $11 (now $14, I'll explain) monthly subscription that has mainly beauty items. This is a subscription throug

August Ipsy Glam Bag

If you're not familiar with Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription bag with 4-5 full and/or sample sized beauty products. I've been getting one for two and an half  years  now. I don't know what took so long this month whether it was Ipsy or just USP
