ColourPop x Nightmare Before Christmas | Makeup

It dawned on me that there are still makeup collections from last year that I haven't even mentioned here. Some I'm willing to look past and not worry about but the new faves have to be mentioned. So if you notice some older collections... Don't mind me! This one is worth the mention. I was super stoked about this collab. I mean so many collection opportunities come in the beauty world but it always comes down to who/what company has been chosen. Ha! That sadly, happened a lot last year with so many that could've really been something. That is why I was so happy to end out the year with a love of mine, 'The Nightmare Before Christmas' and a brand like ColourPop that would do it justice. I do think the aesthetic could've been a little more. I wish it even came more geared towards Halloween instead of Christmas, but once I had it in my hands I had to give props to ColourPop. It is an insanely beautiful collection. I still crave more grunge in shade choices, but the palette is still a unique color story and one I think a lot would love. The formula is a 10/10 from them so if you enjoy the best of the best from ColourPop you'll like the way these shadows perform.

Swatches Left To Right: Zero, Meant To Be, Dear Friend, In My Bones, Pumpkin Patch, Christmas Town, Frog's Breath, Dr. Finkelstein, What's This, Sandy Claws, Everybody Scream, & Halloween Town

I couldn't resist the Jelly Much shadows in this collection either. I love Lock, Shock, and Barrel so I had to splurge a little even though I have a love-hate relationship with this formula. It is stunning and everything to expect from jelly. Pigment, sparkle, wears well but also dries out hella fast. I do like the switch from plastic containers to glass jars (like pot eyeliners) and hope I see a change in their shelf span.

The lipsticks I almost passed on but like the Jelly Much Shadows they won me over with the characters. The only part that really confuses me is the shades. Sure we have a pretty neutral nude for the Oogie Boogie shade, but Jack and Sally's shades are ehh. The Jack shade would've been so cool if we got a creme lux lipstick in black! But sadly, it's another ColourPop red... The Sally shade on the other hand is this super neon pink. I know, I know. They pulled the pink from Sally's dress. While I have actually worn this shade many times now even with its shocking shade I still wish they would've gone a little grungier with this entire collection. It's still a really cool collab that I reach for quite a bit. Are you loving this collection? xo

*Don't mind the older Christmas shots. Ha!

Shroud Cosmetics x BattyBean Hallobean Palette | Makeup

Where to begin with this palette? Could it be the best of this season? Possibly so! This second round of Shroud Cosmetics x BattyBean is everything I could dream up for a fall palette. Sure, I love the past Its Freakin' Bats palette. It is still a favorite with its spooky vibes. What the Hallobean Palette gives is not only a spooky vibe but a fall lovers' essentials in the shade range. With 5 mattes and 4 metallics, you have a good balance in formulas that are some of the best. The mattes are pigmented but are some of the easiest shadows to blend out. The metallics are a buttery dream with the prettiest payoff. These stunning shades that are named after such iconic Halloween movies/characters are everything and new favorites.   BattyBean did an incredible job on another gorgeous color story and Shroud really does deserve all the love/hype they are getting! xx Shades left to right: Ghastly, Afterlife, Crypt, Woodsboro, It's Showtime, Black Flame, Losers Club, Ghoulish...

Doucce Freematic Eyeshadow Pro Palette (Nude) Review

Doucce Freematic Eyeshadow Pro Palette (Nude) Review You may have seen that I received this Doucce palette in my FabFitFun Winter Box . I have actually tried one of their single pans of eyeshadow from a subscription in the past and I did like it and thought it was super pigmented! First of all, I love how compact and cool this freematic palette is. There is small magnets on the back of each shade and the inside of the actual palette is a magnetic board like a Z-Palette. Then I want to mention how I do really like the color layout of this. It is a pretty neutral layout and has shades that everyone has, but the undertone of these are just so different to me. In a good way for sure! They do have other palette options on their website, along with a "build your own palette" option. I will eventually review the highlight (also a bonus!) that came with this, but I want to talk mainly about the 8 eyeshadows. They're just like the single one I received and is very pigm...

Amethyst | Gemstone Series

Amethyst | Gemstone Series  Today is Amethyst. I have to say I started this look a little late in the day and was rushing the beautiful golden hour to get this makeup on and get decent pictures before the sunset.  *If this is the first gemstone look you have seen the others will be linked below, but the idea is creating looks based on gemstones every week and the challenge (not really) using the ColourPop So Jaded palette to create the eye look.  ✖️Brows: Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Gel (Blonde) ✖️Eyes: Mac Cosmetics Paint Pot (Painterly) ColourPop So Jaded Palette (Ametrine, Flourite, & Amethyst) Tarte Cosmetics Big Ego Mascara I started the look with the Ametrine shade right above my crease and blended it out with a blending brush. Then I took the Flourite shade on my inner corner and brow bone as my highlight.  Then, of course, the Amethyst shade in the palette. I patted it on the lid space with my finger before blending it in my actual ...
