KKW Crystal Vanilla 


Top: Sugar, Fruits, Wild berries, and Orange

Heart: Vanilla, Poinsettia, and Honeysuckle

Base: Vanilla, Cacao, and Benzoin


This is a new take on vanilla scents for me. It is refreshing vanilla instead of your typical warm and cozy vanilla. It still is very much so a winter and fall scent to me but even with the spring weather kicking in I find myself drawn to it still. What I love about KKW Fragrance is that with each collection you find a uniqueness. Sure, none of the crystal collection smells the same but they all have this certain twist to them. You can always tell it is a crystal scent. I love that and it comes through with this scent too.  Like most vanilla scents, keep in mind that it is sweet. You also have the fruit notes, sugar, and honeysuckle that add to the sweetness. The poinsettia, cacao, and benzoin level it out for me with a hint of warmth and full-on freshness. I really enjoy this vanilla. 



*Sidebar - I am so sad all KKW Fragrance scents are being discontinued as they rebrand. While I completely understand the rebrand I really hope they bring back favorites when they relaunch. I'm excited about newness but also sad to see so many go. I will continue to share the ones I have that I haven't shared about whether they are still available in their clear-out sale or not. Doucce Freematic Eyeshadow Pro Palette (Nude) Review You may have seen that I received this Doucce palette in my FabFitFun Winter Box . I have actually tried one of their single pans of eyeshadow from a subscription in the past and I did like it and thought it was super pigmented! First of all, I love how compact and cool this freematic palette is. There is small magnets on the back of each shade and the inside of the actual palette is a magnetic board like a Z-Palette. Then I want to mention how I do really like the color layout of this. It is a pretty neutral layout and has shades that everyone has, but the undertone of these are just so different to me. Nomad Cosmetics Hudson Valley Palette | Makeup

 It had been too long since I got a palette from Nomad Cosmetics . They have one of the best formulas and I absolutely love when they do darker/fall color stories. I still use the Haunted Europe palette all the time and after using this one I know I'll be just as obsessed with it too. This palette is heavy on mattes with only three metallics. I do love these metallics. The formula is buttery and so pigmented plus the shades really compliment the mattes in this unique color story. The mattes are where it is at. They have some of the best mattes ever! Plus these shades?! You have a neutral side with a touch of greens that are all so toned down and wearable. But you also have those beautiful bold fall colors on the other side. While this was a fall launch and a palette I will be wearing every fall I'm sure.
