Em Cosmetics Serum Blushes | Makeup

The amount of cream and liquid blushes I have now is sad, but hey I love being able to share my favorites with you! I've been eyeing these gems from Em Cosmetics since the launch. The uniqueness of liquid blushes at that time versus the cream blush plus they threw in the word "serum" and this packaging... I mean come on! Overall I have to say I really love these blushes and find them quite magical on the skin but while I have pros I do have cons too. The pros are that they are gorgeous shades, wear very well, look so natural (like skin like), and a little goes a long way. The cons are that they don't always play well with the rest of my makeup and the applicator. These wear incredible over a light base like a skin tint or tinted moisturizer. I think that is what these were intended for in the first place. That natural skin look. A few times I have tried these over a heavier foundation they seem to apply oily on top and break up the product underneath some. I was able to mesh it all back together since I hadn't powdered yet, but then the shade was pretty much gone after that much blending. So again these are best over a bare face or lightweight base. I was deceived on size, not going to lie, but like mentioned in the pros a little (if applied over bare skin or light base) goes a long way. The applicator is a dropper, which you would think is really nice, but I seem to always have a hard time getting to the product which leaves me wondering if a lot of product will be wasted once there isn't a lot left. For the price point I would want every drop. So what do you think? Which shade would you pick up from Em Cosmetics? xx

Beauty Tuesday

For my first " Beauty Tuesday", I thought I would start it off with my May Ipsy bag. If you're not familiar with Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription bag with 4-5 full and/or sample size beauty products. This June marks two years that I've received a bag. Even though some bags are hit or miss, I've continued to be subscribed so I can try out new items. I feel like Ipsy has really upped their game this year and I've loved every bag I've gotten. I'll be sharing my bag with you every month with my own personal review of the bag itself, and each product in it. I'll also blog about how certain makeup wears, feels, and my own opinion of the product. The same for skincare products, and how they work with my skin type.  I hope you enjoy my May 2017 Glam Bag (If you're interested in subscribing to Ipsy's monthly Glam Bag, I'll post the link down below). I'm more into Ipsy for the actual products and not the bags, but I'll admit the ba

Ricky's Cult Crushes // May 2018

Ricky's Cult Crushes // May 2018  You may already know, but I moved all of my subscriptions to my beauty channel: AllyBrianne   You can check out my unboxings there of all of my monthly and seasonal subscriptions.  The reason I'm posting this blog today is because I just got this months Ricky's Cult Crushes in the mail last week. I planned on filming a quick unboxing to post Sunday, but my weekend got away from me so here we are. This is only my second month receiving this subscription. I'm up in the air about it honestly. Last months ( Ricky's Cult Crushes // April 2018 ) was a good box, but sadly the pans in the eyeshadow palette kept falling out! You can see all that business in the video! I was disappointed because the shadows were great.. The packaging not so much.  If you don't know what  Ricky's Cult Crushes is... It is a $11 (now $14, I'll explain) monthly subscription that has mainly beauty items. This is a subscription throug

I don't know what took so long this month whether it was Ipsy or just USP
