Orange | Monochromatic Series

I actually created this look weeks ago when my mental health wasn't in a good place. I'm working on new looks for this series so I thought it was time to get this one up. I do like this look overall but I wish the eyeshadow was a little more pigmented. I debated scrapping this look but I rarely do orange looks so here it is. Oh and yes, I had to use an orange eyeliner for my lip liner. haha.

*If this is the first monochromatic look you have seen the others will be linked below, but the idea is creating looks that are monochromatic with the eyes and lips every week.

✖️Brows:
Benefit Cosmetics Brow Contour Pro Pencil - Blonde Light
Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel

✖️Eyes:
Morphe 35M Boss Mood Palette - Play It Cool, Fired Up, Light of the Party, Confidence, & Bright Eyes
It Cosmetics Superhero Mascara

I started this orange look with a nice cool transition shade, Play it Cool. To highlight my brow bone and inner corner I took a light shimmer, Light of the Party

Then I dipped into some orange. I took the shade, Fired Up first because it is a matte. Then I went into the darker metallic orange, Confidence and placed it all over the lid. It was okay but I wanted an extra spark to it so I used the light metallic orange, Bright Eyes in the center of the lid over the previous shade to make it pop more.

✖️Face:
Elf Putty Primer
Marc Jacobs Genius Gel Foundation - 10 Ivory Light
Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer - Fair
Coty Airspun Setting Powder
Flower Beauty Miracle Glow Satin Finishing Powder
Illuminate Cosmetics Glow Up Palette - GNO & Turn Up
ColourPop Super Shock Cheek - Get Leid
Mac Cosmetics Fix +

✖️Lips:
Colourpop Creme Gel Liner - Puppy
Kylie Cosmetics High Gloss - Little Sunshine

Beauty Tuesday

For my first " Beauty Tuesday", I thought I would start it off with my May Ipsy bag. If you're not familiar with Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription bag with 4-5 full and/or sample size beauty products. This June marks two years that I've received a bag. Even though some bags are hit or miss, I've continued to be subscribed so I can try out new items. I feel like Ipsy has really upped their game this year and I've loved every bag I've gotten. I'll be sharing my bag with you every month with my own personal review of the bag itself, and each product in it. I'll also blog about how certain makeup wears, feels, and my own opinion of the product. The same for skincare products, and how they work with my skin type.  I hope you enjoy my May 2017 Glam Bag (If you're interested in subscribing to Ipsy's monthly Glam Bag, I'll post the link down below). I'm more into Ipsy for the actual products and not the bags, but I'll admit the ba

Ricky's Cult Crushes // May 2018

Ricky's Cult Crushes // May 2018  You may already know, but I moved all of my subscriptions to my beauty channel: AllyBrianne   You can check out my unboxings there of all of my monthly and seasonal subscriptions.  The reason I'm posting this blog today is because I just got this months Ricky's Cult Crushes in the mail last week. I planned on filming a quick unboxing to post Sunday, but my weekend got away from me so here we are. This is only my second month receiving this subscription. I'm up in the air about it honestly. Last months ( Ricky's Cult Crushes // April 2018 ) was a good box, but sadly the pans in the eyeshadow palette kept falling out! You can see all that business in the video! I was disappointed because the shadows were great.. The packaging not so much.  If you don't know what  Ricky's Cult Crushes is... It is a $11 (now $14, I'll explain) monthly subscription that has mainly beauty items. This is a subscription throug

August Ipsy Glam Bag

If you're not familiar with Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription bag with 4-5 full and/or sample sized beauty products. I've been getting one for two and an half  years  now. I don't know what took so long this month whether it was Ipsy or just USP
