Ace Beaute Nostalgia Palette | Makeup

I wanted this palette from the time I saw it sneak peeked. The color story is beautiful with unique undertones once again from Ace Beaute. They do such a good job putting shades together. The theme "nostalgia" was a fun take on 2020. While being home with nothing open all the fun things like theme parks, the beach, etc. were closed. Hence becoming a nostalgic feeling/memory. It was a cute moment... The only part I found strange was the theme with the outer packaging art. The cover is tropical with flowers making it seem more like a summer beach theme. It may have been a last-minute theme switch on their end with the same packaging, but I would honestly prefer the beachy theme over the nostalgia one. What I'm getting at is the packaging could have been a lot cooler for the theme.

Swatches left to right: Beach, Popsicle, Stargazing, Theme Park, Water Slide, Heat, Raspberry, Picnic, Camping, Fun, Flower, Vacation, Flip Flops, Carnival, & Hiking.

The formula is the usual from Ace and it's become one I really enjoy. The metallics are still a like but not love for me. There is just something about them. It's a pretty payoff, but the mattes are incredible. They're top tier for me! They're hella pigmented and wear like a dream. I think it's time to finally break open the Oceanic palette I bought last year and use... Ha! What looks would you like to see with this beautiful palette? xo

Beauty Tuesday

For my first " Beauty Tuesday", I thought I would start it off with my May Ipsy bag. If you're not familiar with Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription bag with 4-5 full and/or sample size beauty products. This June marks two years that I've received a bag. Even though some bags are hit or miss, I've continued to be subscribed so I can try out new items. I feel like Ipsy has really upped their game this year and I've loved every bag I've gotten. I'll be sharing my bag with you every month with my own personal review of the bag itself, and each product in it. I'll also blog about how certain makeup wears, feels, and my own opinion of the product. The same for skincare products, and how they work with my skin type.  I hope you enjoy my May 2017 Glam Bag (If you're interested in subscribing to Ipsy's monthly Glam Bag, I'll post the link down below). I'm more into Ipsy for the actual products and not the bags, but I'll admit the ba

Ricky's Cult Crushes // May 2018

Ricky's Cult Crushes // May 2018  You may already know, but I moved all of my subscriptions to my beauty channel: AllyBrianne   You can check out my unboxings there of all of my monthly and seasonal subscriptions.  The reason I'm posting this blog today is because I just got this months Ricky's Cult Crushes in the mail last week. I planned on filming a quick unboxing to post Sunday, but my weekend got away from me so here we are. This is only my second month receiving this subscription. I'm up in the air about it honestly. Last months ( Ricky's Cult Crushes // April 2018 ) was a good box, but sadly the pans in the eyeshadow palette kept falling out! You can see all that business in the video! I was disappointed because the shadows were great.. The packaging not so much.  If you don't know what  Ricky's Cult Crushes is... It is a $11 (now $14, I'll explain) monthly subscription that has mainly beauty items. This is a subscription throug

August Ipsy Glam Bag

If you're not familiar with Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription bag with 4-5 full and/or sample sized beauty products. I've been getting one for two and an half  years  now. I don't know what took so long this month whether it was Ipsy or just USP
