Clearstart Post-Breakout Fix | Skincare

My newest Clearstart addition to my skincare routine has been their new spot treatment. The truth is no matter how well I am taking care of my skin or how religious I am with the skincare steps I will still have breakouts. Whether it is my time of the month or just a hormonal flare-up it sucks. June is actually Acne Awareness Month. While I, of course, hate it and wish for clear skin regularly... The fact is acne is real. It's a part of life and even if you've been blessed with heavenly skin I'm sure you've had a breakout before. These days with filters and everything being photoshopped or airbrushed it gets hard to see the realness in everyone but yourself that you see daily in the mirror. It's easier for you to point it out as flaws in yourself when everyone else's skin looks "perfect." It's important to keep in mind that everyone has actual skin. Just because a certain celebrity has no acne doesn't mean they don't have texture and pores. EVERY single person has real skin. We're fortunate to have many wonderful people on socials breaking the norm and showcasing that these details aren't "flaws" but just real raw skin. Sure everyone's skin is different but you should never be ashamed of your own.

While I wanted to touch base on Acne Awareness Month, as I do every year, I also thought it was a great time to share this new product from Clearstart that I've been using for weeks now. This product really works as a spot treatment that is intended to aid the healing, redness, and fading of your post-breakout. It really does work! I see a difference in my red marks from leftover breakouts after one day of this product. In a week, it's completely gone! While that is great and worth the hype I wanted to mention so is the brand because they celebrate real skin. They aren't afraid to show their products on real skin for posts and campaigns. That means so much to me. It's refreshing seeing skin like my own and others who struggle even more with it. That representation the brand gives is everything. So huge props to Dermalogica and Clearstart for not only celebrating real skin this month but creating products to help us move on from each breakout!

Post-breakout Fix is here for your stubborn spots leftover from breakouts. It's called the "overachieving dark spot eraser" and lives up to its claims. It helps visibly fade post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, gently exfoliates and evens skin tone, and restores while nourishing compromised skin. If you deal with breakouts, redness, dark spots, and scarring I highly recommend trying this product out. xx

Amethyst | Gemstone Series

Amethyst | Gemstone Series  Today is Amethyst. I have to say I started this look a little late in the day and was rushing the beautiful golden hour to get this makeup on and get decent pictures before the sunset.  *If this is the first gemstone look you have seen the others will be linked below, but the idea is creating looks based on gemstones every week and the challenge (not really) using the ColourPop So Jaded palette to create the eye look.  ✖️Brows: Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Gel (Blonde) ✖️Eyes: Mac Cosmetics Paint Pot (Painterly) ColourPop So Jaded Palette (Ametrine, Flourite, & Amethyst) Tarte Cosmetics Big Ego Mascara I started the look with the Ametrine shade right above my crease and blended it out with a blending brush. Then I took the Flourite shade on my inner corner and brow bone as my highlight.  Then, of course, the Amethyst shade in the palette. I patted it on the lid space with my finger before blending it in my actual ...

Good Molecules Pineapple Exfoliating Powder \\ Skincare

Good Molecules Pineapple Exfoliating Powder \\ Skincare Pineapple Exfoliating Powder I was so skeptical about this product. I mean it is a super fine powder that is suppose to exfoliate my skin. It is a super fine powder, but it still does the trick! While being extremely gentle to the skin the natural starch and silk powder exfoliates your skin removing dead skin build up and surface build up in pores. On top of that it will leave your skin glowing with the 3-0 ethyl ascorbic acid from all the fruit extracts in this. It has not only pineapple, but also kiwi and papaya! What's even better (that I have absolutely loved!) is that this is made without microbeads, nuts, or anything that will be too harsh and could potentially scratch the surface of your skin.  While being super gentle it will also leave your skin soothed and calm with the calamine powder and allantoin that is in it too.  Sorry I sound like an infomercial in these blogs. I just want all the info out there for you w...
