KKW Fragrance // Crystal Violet Musk

KKW Fragrance // Crystal Violet Musk

Today I bring you my next fragrance purchase (another one is coming too!) and a fragrance that caught me off guard with the scent. Have you gotten this Crystal yet? Fortunately, it is still available as I am typing this but is a very limited edition like the Crystal Pear & Peony was. I recently posted my thoughts on the KKW Fragrance x Kylie Jenner. Check it out if you enjoy fragrance posts.  XO

Opening: Sugar-Coated Italian Bergamot, Dreamy Lavender France Orpur
Heart: Star Jasmine, Lush Violet Peonies, Pink Lily of the Valley Bells
Finish: Vanilla Bean Fluff, Roasted Tonka Bean Absolute Orpur, Sandalwood Australian Orpur

When I read "Sugar-Coated Italian Bergamot," "Dreamy Lavender," and "Vanilla Bean Fluff" I expect a sweeter scent for sure and was caught off guard with this scent. The other notes definitely shift this from sweet to more floral. My first initial smell was unsure if this fragrance was for me, but I was pleasantly surprised by how much I started to really enjoy this scent. Although there is a sweetness to it I smell more lavender which makes this scent very calming to me. It is a very relaxing scent that helps on my most anxiety-filled days. I now have two of her Crystal scents and have found them to shift more floral than anything and I'm finding it growing more and more on me. With this scent, she sent 3 Amethyst Quartz to represent this fragrance. Amethyst is said to "enhance creativity and passion. Strengthens imagination and intuition."
I'm more intrigued now to shop her OG crystal scent.

Beauty Tuesday

For my first " Beauty Tuesday", I thought I would start it off with my May Ipsy bag. If you're not familiar with Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription bag with 4-5 full and/or sample size beauty products. This June marks two years that I've received a bag. Even though some bags are hit or miss, I've continued to be subscribed so I can try out new items. I feel like Ipsy has really upped their game this year and I've loved every bag I've gotten. I'll be sharing my bag with you every month with my own personal review of the bag itself, and each product in it. I'll also blog about how certain makeup wears, feels, and my own opinion of the product. The same for skincare products, and how they work with my skin type.  I hope you enjoy my May 2017 Glam Bag (If you're interested in subscribing to Ipsy's monthly Glam Bag, I'll post the link down below). I'm more into Ipsy for the actual products and not the bags, but I'll admit the ba

Ricky's Cult Crushes // May 2018

Ricky's Cult Crushes // May 2018  You may already know, but I moved all of my subscriptions to my beauty channel: AllyBrianne   You can check out my unboxings there of all of my monthly and seasonal subscriptions.  The reason I'm posting this blog today is because I just got this months Ricky's Cult Crushes in the mail last week. I planned on filming a quick unboxing to post Sunday, but my weekend got away from me so here we are. This is only my second month receiving this subscription. I'm up in the air about it honestly. Last months ( Ricky's Cult Crushes // April 2018 ) was a good box, but sadly the pans in the eyeshadow palette kept falling out! You can see all that business in the video! I was disappointed because the shadows were great.. The packaging not so much.  If you don't know what  Ricky's Cult Crushes is... It is a $11 (now $14, I'll explain) monthly subscription that has mainly beauty items. This is a subscription throug

August Ipsy Glam Bag

If you're not familiar with Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription bag with 4-5 full and/or sample sized beauty products. I've been getting one for two and an half  years  now. I'll be sharing my bag with you every month with my own personal review of the bag itself, and each product in it. I don't know what took so long this month whether it was Ipsy or just USP
