Jouer Essential High Coverage Creme Foundation Review

Jouer Essential High Coverage Creme Foundation Review

This blog has taken me way too long to get done! I tried this foundation out one to two months ago and I just keep putting it off! I've seen quite a few Youtubers absolutely love this foundation. Let me tell you, when you first apply this you're going to love it too! The coverage of this is the absolute best I have ever had! It is shocking every time I wear this. The downside.. This foundation, even with the bomb coverage, is still a miss for me. Guys, I can NOT get this to stay put, not crease, and/or separate and look disgusting! It's not long-wearing whatsoever because it automatically starts breaking down. This is the shade porcelain and it is no where near my natural shade, but matched me okay while I had fake tan on. I've worn this foundation maybe 3-4 times and I still can't get it to work for me. I've tried my holy grail Too Faced HangoveRX Primer and then stuck to mattifying primers since this foundation likes to move around. With a matte primer it last better, but still creases. I really had high expectations with this foundation and it really was a let down. It kills me with how good this looks in pictures further away, but up close and personal is a hot mess! The only great thing I can say about this foundation is the coverage and the packaging isn't bad either. What do you think about this foundation? Let me know if you have any tricks on how to make it work! I want to love this so bad for that coverage!

This foundation gets a 4/10 for me and thats only because the coverage is amazing.
You can find this on Beautylish for $38

Very unflattering, but I wanted to really be able to show you how this foundation wears just after the 3 hour mark! It's a creasy mess!

Beauty Tuesday

For my first " Beauty Tuesday", I thought I would start it off with my May Ipsy bag. If you're not familiar with Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription bag with 4-5 full and/or sample size beauty products. This June marks two years that I've received a bag. Even though some bags are hit or miss, I've continued to be subscribed so I can try out new items. I feel like Ipsy has really upped their game this year and I've loved every bag I've gotten. I'll be sharing my bag with you every month with my own personal review of the bag itself, and each product in it. I'll also blog about how certain makeup wears, feels, and my own opinion of the product. The same for skincare products, and how they work with my skin type.  I hope you enjoy my May 2017 Glam Bag (If you're interested in subscribing to Ipsy's monthly Glam Bag, I'll post the link down below). I'm more into Ipsy for the actual products and not the bags, but I'll admit the ba

Ricky's Cult Crushes // May 2018

Ricky's Cult Crushes // May 2018  You may already know, but I moved all of my subscriptions to my beauty channel: AllyBrianne   You can check out my unboxings there of all of my monthly and seasonal subscriptions.  The reason I'm posting this blog today is because I just got this months Ricky's Cult Crushes in the mail last week. I planned on filming a quick unboxing to post Sunday, but my weekend got away from me so here we are. This is only my second month receiving this subscription. I'm up in the air about it honestly. Last months ( Ricky's Cult Crushes // April 2018 ) was a good box, but sadly the pans in the eyeshadow palette kept falling out! You can see all that business in the video! I was disappointed because the shadows were great.. The packaging not so much.  If you don't know what  Ricky's Cult Crushes is... It is a $11 (now $14, I'll explain) monthly subscription that has mainly beauty items. This is a subscription throug

August Ipsy Glam Bag

If you're not familiar with Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription bag with 4-5 full and/or sample sized beauty products. I've been getting one for two and an half  years  now. I don't know what took so long this month whether it was Ipsy or just USP
