E.l.f. Flawless Finish Foundation Review

E.l.f. Flawless Finish Foundation Review

 Products Used:

NOHJ Modeling Mask Serum Squalane
(January 2018 // Facetory)
This mask is suppose to moisturize, soothe,
and make your skin glow. That it did! I had such
a radiant glow to my skin after using this  mask.
The gold masks are still a little creepy looking
when wearing them, but I do feel a little bougie
while wearing them! This is one of my favorites
that I have received from Facetory! I do have a
try-on video of this mask on my Instagram, if you
want to see it in action! Just scroll down a little
on my profile (@allisonhunt_2) to February 6th.

E.l.f. Flawless Finish Foundation (porcelain)

I was so back and forth on posting this review. The main reason is because I've had this foundation for awhile now and was just now trying it out. Then come to find out when I was looking into more info about it, the packaging is a little newer looking, they have changed some of the shade names, and added a couple new ones. I figure the formula is still the same, so I decided to still review this. First of all, this is the shade porcelain (it's now the shade, natural) and this shade was the lightest in the range and it's probably 2 shades too dark for me. I can make it work, but I have to use so much product to drag it completely down my neck. I'm hoping that this summer with fake tan I'll be able to pull the shade off better. Thankfully, it doesn't oxidize. This is very light weight, doesn't have a strong scent to it, and applies to the face amazingly! The coverage is great, probably more on the medium side, but can be built up. The packing is awful. My pump won't even work so that is probably why they updated the packaging.
It  really has a "flawless" finish to it. When first applied it sets on my skin with a natural glow to it. It doesn't settle into lines, creases, or clings to dry spots. It wears like that throughout the day! The only issues I've had is a little bit of creasing in my expression lines later through the day. I'm not a fan of that, but besides that this is an amazing foundation.. and it's $6! That is crazy affordable! I will definitely be repurchasing this to try out the new packaging and I'm hoping the shade light ivory might match me a little better than this natural shade.
I give this foundation a 8/10 only because of the creasing in the expression lines at the end of the day and because of the shade range. It needs improvement.
You can purchase it on Ulta or on E.l.f.

Beauty Tuesday

For my first " Beauty Tuesday", I thought I would start it off with my May Ipsy bag. If you're not familiar with Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription bag with 4-5 full and/or sample size beauty products. This June marks two years that I've received a bag. Even though some bags are hit or miss, I've continued to be subscribed so I can try out new items. I feel like Ipsy has really upped their game this year and I've loved every bag I've gotten. I'll be sharing my bag with you every month with my own personal review of the bag itself, and each product in it. I'll also blog about how certain makeup wears, feels, and my own opinion of the product. The same for skincare products, and how they work with my skin type.  I hope you enjoy my May 2017 Glam Bag (If you're interested in subscribing to Ipsy's monthly Glam Bag, I'll post the link down below). I'm more into Ipsy for the actual products and not the bags, but I'll admit the ba

Ricky's Cult Crushes // May 2018

Ricky's Cult Crushes // May 2018  You may already know, but I moved all of my subscriptions to my beauty channel: AllyBrianne   You can check out my unboxings there of all of my monthly and seasonal subscriptions.  The reason I'm posting this blog today is because I just got this months Ricky's Cult Crushes in the mail last week. I planned on filming a quick unboxing to post Sunday, but my weekend got away from me so here we are. This is only my second month receiving this subscription. I'm up in the air about it honestly. Last months ( Ricky's Cult Crushes // April 2018 ) was a good box, but sadly the pans in the eyeshadow palette kept falling out! You can see all that business in the video! I was disappointed because the shadows were great.. The packaging not so much.  If you don't know what  Ricky's Cult Crushes is... It is a $11 (now $14, I'll explain) monthly subscription that has mainly beauty items. This is a subscription throug

I don't know what took so long this month whether it was Ipsy or just USP
