Sephora Play! & Lip Monthly Try-On (February 2018)

Sephora Play! & Lip Monthly Try-On (February 2018)

Before spoiling any products you can check out my unboxing videos I have on both of these monthly subscription right here:

(be sure to like and subscribe to my channel to see future unboxings!)

Disclaimer: I used as many products from these subscriptions the I could get into this look. If you want to see every product I received in these subscriptions and their total box/bag value check out the videos above!

 Products Used in this Look:

Farsali Unicorn Essence
Wet n Wild Photo Focus Foundation (nude ivory)
Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer (fair neutral)
Coty Airspun Setting Powder (translucent)
Ciate Bamboo Bronzer (palm island)
Jelly Pong Pong Cosmetics Play Stain $13 (Lip Monthly) This product blew me away! I mentioned in my unboxing video that I wasn't a fan of lip & cheek stains, but this formula is great! It looks glossy on my lips, but gives my cheeks the perfect natural blush tint! It blended out well. I used my finger to apply it, but softened it up with my beauty sponge.

XO Beauty Highlighting Powder (aurora)
Face Brushes:
L'oreal Infallible Beauty Sponge (concealer & powder)
Morphe E6 (foundation)
It! Cosmetics Chic Powder (powder)
XO Beauty Vegan Bronzer (bronzer)
my finger & sponge (blush stain)
XO Beauty Vegan Shimmer Tulip (highlight)
Makeup Revolution #SELFIE Eyeshadow Palette
I used the very bottom shade (How Many Likes?) as a base all over my eyes. Then I took the third shade (#Trashy) up which is a nice brown shade for the transition, but also for adding more depth into the eye look. I used the second shade (#Club) up to highlight the very inner corner and brow bone with.

Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Colour (Rosegold) $29 for full size (Sephora Play!)
I used this all over the lid and just added more of the brown shade from the palette to my creases and outer corners.
This product is so pretty when swatched, but I had a hard time building the shade up on my lids.  I'm not a huge fan of creamy eye products like this for that reason. I may try this out on my face for an actual highlight, but so far I'm not loving this product yet.

Maybelline Lash Sensational Full Fan Effect Mascara
Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer (taupe)

Eye Brushes:
It! Cosmetics Chic Crease (crease and base shades)
XO Beauty Vegan Eyeshadow (highlight)
Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment (Rosé) $24 for full size (Sephora Play!)
This is such a nice lip balm. I expected more of an exfoliator lip product with the word "sugar" for some reason, but this is just a lip balm treatment. So far I like it though!

Mac Fix +

Dirty Little Secret Satin Lipstick (sugar daddy) $10 (Lip Monthly)
This is a really fun color for spring and summer! This does apply a little sheer, but can be built up. It wore like an average cream lipstick and was just about off my lips after a few hours, so touch ups are a must with this product. I love the sweet fruity scent and how it made my lips look glossy without wearing a gloss!

Chloé Eau de Parfum $28-$180 depending on size (Sephora Play! Perfume sample)
I really enjoy this scent! It's a womanly scent, but has a little extra spice that makes it perfect for a date night scent!
Farmacy Green Clean Makeup Meltaway Cleansing Balm $34 for full size (Sephora Play!)
I've been using this balm to take my makeup off every night and I have really loved it! My makeup comes off so fast with it! This is an oil balm, but washes right off leaving my skin non-oily. I do wash my face well with my cleanser right afterwards, but this has cut my skincare routine at night down to half the time! I want the full size!

Belif Moisturizing Eye Bomb $48 for full size (Sephora Play!)
I've been trying this out as my nightly eye cream since receiving it. It takes me a few week of trying skincare out to really be able to tell if I think it's a product I have to include in my routine, but so far I'm loving it! It's a thicker cream that sinks right into the skin as you rub it in making my under eyes feel moisturized and amazing.

Finished Look:

Play! by Sephora is a $10 (+tax) beauty subscription through Sephora. You get 4-5 items along with a perfume sample. Everything is exclusive sample sizes of products that you can purchase at Sephora. The samples usually aren't too bad in size. They at least have enough product for you to try it, see if you like it, and decide if it is worth buying the full-size. Totally worth the $10 in my opinion! If you are interested in your own Sephora Play! box: https://www.sephora.com/play?searchTerm=play

Lip Monthly is a $12.95 subscription dedicated to lip products! You get 3-4 products that are mainly lip products, but sometimes one item will be a non-lip product. For the most part these are full-sized. This is a great way to build your lip collection and also a way to discover more indie, vegan, and non-cruelty brands!

Revlon ColorStay Skin Awaken 5-in-1 Concealer | Makeup

Revlon Colorstay Skin Awaken 5-in-1 Concealer  Revlon has a new Colorstay concealer that I had to share for different reasons. I've been trying it out for the past few weeks and have my shades down and also the way I like to apply it! So I thought I would let you in on my secrets... My fair with neutral undertones skin has done best with the shade fair in the concealer although I'm super close to the shade, vanilla as well. My absolute favorite way of wearing this concealer formula is day-to-day by itself. It's that "your skin but better" look where I only use spot concealer under my eyes and where needed. It blends in without leaving weird patches but wears nicely in place. The only complaint here is the creasing I do experience with fine lines and creases that are on my skin. A little setting powder fixes that. I have tried the universal neutralizer and wasn't a fan. I'm sure it would be nice for most, but my fair skin doesn't mix well with the sha...

Good Molecules Cleansing Bar & Caffeine Energizing Hydrogel Eye Patches // Skincare

Good Molecules Cleansing Bar & Caffeine Energizing Hydrogel Eye Patches // Skincare I have plenty of skincare blogs coming your way, but I wanted to post again about Good Molecules and their products I've been loving.  I do have a video on these products, mainly so on the eye patches, but now that I have been using both of them for awhile I wanted to share my thoughts.  Caffeine Energizing Hydrogel Eye Patches I have always enjoyed any eye product. From eye masks like these to eye creams. They both make a huge difference in my skincare. I go through spells of little sleep and gradually see my under eye area get darker and darker. I'm also paranoid of getting eye wrinkles so I try to keep my eye area super hydrated and even throw in anti-aging in the mix once in awhile. What I can say is that I was not expecting what happened with these eye patches. Yes I'm used to hydration boosts with eye masks, but the difference you see immediately with th...

Skincare & Makeup Haul

Skincare & Makeup Haul I've never done a "haul" on my blog before, but I thought it would be a cool idea plus it would be a sneak peak of things that I'll be trying out for future reviews.  Skincare: I have been loving trying out new skincare items and although my skincare bin is a little full at the moment there was a few things I was running low on and a few things that I couldn't pass on!  I was running low on both makeup removing wipes and micellar water, so I picked these up at Target. I often use a moisturizer from the Simple brand, but I've never tried their wipes or micellar water before. It's cheaper in the long run buying the two pack of wipes, but I do hope these work good!  My nose has once again started getting clogged with blackheads. I've been trying out a few different foundations and wearing makeup just about everyday and my skin just isn't use to that. After taking a two week break from makeup a...
