BH Cosmetics Modern Mattes To Go Palette Review

BH Cosmetics Modern Mattes To Go Palette Review

I have no idea how or when this little 6 shadow palette ended up in my makeup collection, but while doing some decluttering (decluttering, packing, moving, unpacking, etc.) I came across it and thought the shades would be so pretty for some bright spring looks! I also have been playing around with the Stila Glitter & Glow Liquid Eye Shadows so you will notice that I used those in both looks I created with these shades too. I've always been a fan of bh Cosmetics and I have a few of there other palettes that I absolutely love and wear all the time! I kind of had the feeling that these shadows weren't going to exceed the standards of their others. I'm not sure why? But that was my thinking. I'm so glad I was wrong! These shadows swatch a little chalky and maybe even a little sheer. You have to build up the swatches (shown below) to show the actual true color shades. On the eyes is a complete different story! They're pigmented (I did have to build the bright shades a little, but thats common with such bright light shades), blend so well, and stayed on my eyes all day long! I went with a bright pink look using the top row and then a bright purple look using the bottom row. It was super easy to come up with looks and not to mention this would be super handy to travel with during the spring time! The spring colors are there and the size of this is perfect! I'm very impressed with this and if anything I want to place another bh Cosmetics order soon!
The bh Cosmetics Modern Mattes To Go Palette is a 8/10 for me!
I didn't see this exact palette on their site, but they do have a couple others for only $4.99
You can find those on the bh Cosmetics site.

First look (creating a pink) using the top row of shades. I also used the
Stila Glitter & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow in the shade Kitten Karma on the inner lid.

Second look (creating a purple) using the bottom row of shades. I also used the Stila Glitter & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow in the shade Diamond Dust just in the crease of my lid.

Beauty Tuesday

For my first " Beauty Tuesday", I thought I would start it off with my May Ipsy bag. If you're not familiar with Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription bag with 4-5 full and/or sample size beauty products. This June marks two years that I've received a bag. Even though some bags are hit or miss, I've continued to be subscribed so I can try out new items. I feel like Ipsy has really upped their game this year and I've loved every bag I've gotten. I'll be sharing my bag with you every month with my own personal review of the bag itself, and each product in it. I'll also blog about how certain makeup wears, feels, and my own opinion of the product. The same for skincare products, and how they work with my skin type.  I hope you enjoy my May 2017 Glam Bag (If you're interested in subscribing to Ipsy's monthly Glam Bag, I'll post the link down below). I'm more into Ipsy for the actual products and not the bags, but I'll admit the ba

Ricky's Cult Crushes // May 2018

Ricky's Cult Crushes // May 2018  You may already know, but I moved all of my subscriptions to my beauty channel: AllyBrianne   You can check out my unboxings there of all of my monthly and seasonal subscriptions.  The reason I'm posting this blog today is because I just got this months Ricky's Cult Crushes in the mail last week. I planned on filming a quick unboxing to post Sunday, but my weekend got away from me so here we are. This is only my second month receiving this subscription. I'm up in the air about it honestly. Last months ( Ricky's Cult Crushes // April 2018 ) was a good box, but sadly the pans in the eyeshadow palette kept falling out! You can see all that business in the video! I was disappointed because the shadows were great.. The packaging not so much.  If you don't know what  Ricky's Cult Crushes is... It is a $11 (now $14, I'll explain) monthly subscription that has mainly beauty items. This is a subscription throug

I don't know what took so long this month whether it was Ipsy or just USP
