Face Masks // Skincare

Skincare anyone? I have been trying out many masks lately and thought it was time for an update. Starting with this super cute strawberry slice mask from Kocostar. This is a typical like sheet mask in consistency of being mini sheet mask stickers that stick to your face because of the essence they're soaked in. I'm sure there are benefits including an extra hydration to the skin, but I'm sure like most would I wanted to try it out for the photo shoot. Hahaha.

Need a good detox, but don't have the time? This 60 seconds mask is for you! It's intense, but being left on for a minute doesn't harm my sensitive skin. I notice a huge difference in my pores when using this constintly like it recommends. It does have the bubbling up feeling on your face which is super tickling, but besides that it is a 10/10! GlamGlow always kills it!

This mask on the other hand.. I'm scarred from this one! Ha!
To be honest, I feel like this one would work for me using it half the time like I do mud/clay masks on my sensitive skin. Since I didn't know how intense it would be you can see how irritated my skin is after wearing it the recommended time. The good I can say is that my skin was baby smooth the next morning with no irritation left over. It does work, just keep in mind for sensitive skin to stay away or wear less than what time it says to wear it. You definitely will get that baby soft skin facial moment.

Back at it with GlamGlow! This has hands down been my go-to skin recovery product. The cooling sensation of this mask going on the skin to the after results are always calming to my inflamed breakouts. It does good as a skin treat at anytime, but I get the most use out of this (TMI) around my time of the month when I get my painful breakouts! I see a  tremendous difference the next day with this one. This one is GREAT for dry skin too!

My last one does great for the things I mentioned in the last GlamGlow one, but I find this one to be a gentle detox mask as well. I see a difference in breakouts, pores, and texture with this mask. I can't forget the glow this one brings to my skin! Elemis has been a newer brand to me, but I've been loving how gentle and high quality it has been. And as you could tell I'm very much into detox & recovery masks at the moment.
What has been you go-to mask lately? XO

Beauty Tuesday

For my first " Beauty Tuesday", I thought I would start it off with my May Ipsy bag. If you're not familiar with Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription bag with 4-5 full and/or sample size beauty products. This June marks two years that I've received a bag. Even though some bags are hit or miss, I've continued to be subscribed so I can try out new items. I feel like Ipsy has really upped their game this year and I've loved every bag I've gotten. I'll be sharing my bag with you every month with my own personal review of the bag itself, and each product in it. I'll also blog about how certain makeup wears, feels, and my own opinion of the product. The same for skincare products, and how they work with my skin type.  I hope you enjoy my May 2017 Glam Bag (If you're interested in subscribing to Ipsy's monthly Glam Bag, I'll post the link down below). I'm more into Ipsy for the actual products and not the bags, but I'll admit the ba

Ricky's Cult Crushes // May 2018

Ricky's Cult Crushes // May 2018  You may already know, but I moved all of my subscriptions to my beauty channel: AllyBrianne   You can check out my unboxings there of all of my monthly and seasonal subscriptions.  The reason I'm posting this blog today is because I just got this months Ricky's Cult Crushes in the mail last week. I planned on filming a quick unboxing to post Sunday, but my weekend got away from me so here we are. This is only my second month receiving this subscription. I'm up in the air about it honestly. Last months ( Ricky's Cult Crushes // April 2018 ) was a good box, but sadly the pans in the eyeshadow palette kept falling out! You can see all that business in the video! I was disappointed because the shadows were great.. The packaging not so much.  If you don't know what  Ricky's Cult Crushes is... It is a $11 (now $14, I'll explain) monthly subscription that has mainly beauty items. This is a subscription throug

August Ipsy Glam Bag

If you're not familiar with Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription bag with 4-5 full and/or sample sized beauty products. I've been getting one for two and an half  years  now. I don't know what took so long this month whether it was Ipsy or just USP
