Bubbly Whipped Soap Update + Fall Scents | Bath

I'm super proud of how far I have come with my little shop, Bubbly Gift Shop. I haven't mentioned it in a while on here or in general as I have been behind the scenes working on new things, seasonal drops, and reformulations... Yes, reformulation. My beloved Whipped Soap had a glow up. While we love the creaminess and the custard-like appearance that made it look "good enough to eat" I was having a hard time behind the scenes with shipping this product. While in my storage they stayed fresh and ready to go but in transit half of the batches would melt/deflate in their jars. It's been frustrating, to say the least, but this is the real raw part of having a small business. I love my products. I'm proud of my products. But I can without a doubt tell you, that the thought of closing up shop once again, has crossed my mind.

This shop (and products) are so special to me. I dedicated so much time, energy, money, and quite frankly a fraction of my mental health that has taken the turn in these events. The stress of coming back with holiday launches and announcing this change has been weighing heavily on me so I'm ripping the bandaid off with it.

You'll see how I said "glow up" before and that is because although we're saying goodbye to our pretty and loved formula before. We're also saying bye to the negative energy all of this has caused. I said goodbye to the supplier I was going through for base ingredients and I'm closing the door to this chapter and looking forward.

With that being said it is truly a glow-up that these Whipped Soaps have gone through. I have amazing new suppliers of NEW base ingredients that have blown me away! These Whipped Soaps will still work as a body wash (or hand wash if you prefer that) and also are even more incredible as shaving cream. This new formula is thicker for an extra luxurious lather with even more amazing moisturizing benefits from the added kokum butter. These are still clean, organic, and perfect for sensitive skin otherwise this wouldn't be a glow-up. All new ingredients are added to the shop as well as two new listings of some fall scents to keep you in that fall vibes a little while longer. I brought back Pumpkin in the new formula (it was very loved last fall) and now Apple Cider has joined. You can also get Pumpkin and Apple Cider in bath bombs, and bubble bars coming soon.

This new formula is the new formulation for my Whipped Body Scrub as well. The added organic sugars make it the loved whipped scrub that it is. While it does the same as being a body wash/soap it also gently exfoliates the skin. If you're needing a heavier scrub, that is where our regular Scrub comes into play.

Check out all the newness over in the shop and stay tuned on my Bubbly Instagram for updates on new scents around the corner and holiday drops soon after! Thank you for supporting my small shop and even if you can't buy the support of reading this and even following my shop on Etsy, Instagram, TikTok, etc. helps more than you know! xo

Black Moon Cosmetics Lip Trio | Makeup

Mini Moon Liquid to Matte Nude Trio (Deep/Dark) I was happy to make another purchase from the indie brand, Black Moon Cosmetics . I bought the Urban Myth palette last fall and fell in love with it! The brand has since caught my attention over and over with it's clever packaging, overall asethetic, and unique shades. And not just with eyeshadow but with lipsticks as well. Their shade range in lip products are so cool and the packaging is beautiful. I have to say I'm still usually on the fence about trying new liquid lipsticks. To be honest, I feel I have found formulas/brands that work for me and that I know wear amazingly and feel comfortable (not too drying) and I've stuck to those when buying new shades. So it put me off for awhile until I seen them advertise these adorable tin moon holders. At first I seen them and thought of decor, they were so cute! I recently redecorated my filming setup and was in the market for little trinkets that caught my attenion and this one...

Amethyst | Gemstone Series

Amethyst | Gemstone Series  Today is Amethyst. I have to say I started this look a little late in the day and was rushing the beautiful golden hour to get this makeup on and get decent pictures before the sunset.  *If this is the first gemstone look you have seen the others will be linked below, but the idea is creating looks based on gemstones every week and the challenge (not really) using the ColourPop So Jaded palette to create the eye look.  ✖️Brows: Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Gel (Blonde) ✖️Eyes: Mac Cosmetics Paint Pot (Painterly) ColourPop So Jaded Palette (Ametrine, Flourite, & Amethyst) Tarte Cosmetics Big Ego Mascara I started the look with the Ametrine shade right above my crease and blended it out with a blending brush. Then I took the Flourite shade on my inner corner and brow bone as my highlight.  Then, of course, the Amethyst shade in the palette. I patted it on the lid space with my finger before blending it in my actual ...
