I was so intrigued by this product when seeing all the short Insta videos of makeup looks while using this "essence oil", that I purchased this ($20) deluxe sample of it at Sephora. I wanted to see what all the hype was about with priming your face with an oil. I have combo-to-dry skin so the oil part didn't bother me, but I was curious as to if this would make me look oily. Then I read that this actually sinks right into the skin for a matte primed look. That it does! This isn't heavy feeling whatsoever and leaves your skin a little tacky as a primer. This beautiful shimmery pink oil smells really sweet, but not too strong. It's a nice scent. My foundation and face makeup applied and wore on my face really well. So well that it compared to
