ColourPop Hocus Pocus | Makeup

ColourPop Hocus Pocus | Makeup

So being the Hocus Pocus fan that I am I knew the question of me getting this collection was a no brainer, but unfortunately, when that devastating launch day hit I was only able to check out with one lip duo and the palette. I know I am fortunate to even be able to have gotten those, but I was super bummed to not be able to even get the eyeliners. Maybe (but not likely) we will see a restock in the future. Fingers crossed!

Gather Round Sisters Palette

I was so glad this collection offered one of their 15 pan shadow palettes because for some reason the formula seems to always differ between the 9 pans, 15 pans, and the even larger ones. My favorite formula from ColourPop is always in the 15 pans. This palette has mattes, metallic shimmers, a pressed glitter, and some matte shades that have a throw of specs in them.. Which actually really works well with the highlight shade in this palette, Full Moon. It is an off white with glitter specs and is actually a lot nicer of a highlight shade than it sounds. While the palette does seem semi boring for the Sanderson sisters I can say it is much prettier and stunning in person. I have created such fun fall looks with this palette turning myself into WinifredMary, & Sarah during spooky season to also using it in a monochromatic fall look that was with the neutral shades. It's very versatile in that way. I love the grungy fall undertones and have really fallen for this palette.

Shades left to right: Full Moon, Hello Salem, Brew Potion, On Toast, Coven, Come Little Children, Tis' Firm, Thackery Binx, Yabbos, I Call It A Bus, Wench, Night Of Frolic, Dead Man's Toe, Bewitched, & Goodbye Cruel World

I Put A Spell On You Lip Duo

Another beautiful red lipstick from ColourPop. Not a shock there, but I did try their creamy lip liners for the first time and really enjoy it! They're easily applied and last well. This is the lip liner Come We Fly! and lipstick Winnie. Super cute and the packaging is everything!

Beauty Tuesday

For my first " Beauty Tuesday", I thought I would start it off with my May Ipsy bag. If you're not familiar with Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription bag with 4-5 full and/or sample size beauty products. This June marks two years that I've received a bag. Even though some bags are hit or miss, I've continued to be subscribed so I can try out new items. I feel like Ipsy has really upped their game this year and I've loved every bag I've gotten. I'll be sharing my bag with you every month with my own personal review of the bag itself, and each product in it. I'll also blog about how certain makeup wears, feels, and my own opinion of the product. The same for skincare products, and how they work with my skin type.  I hope you enjoy my May 2017 Glam Bag (If you're interested in subscribing to Ipsy's monthly Glam Bag, I'll post the link down below). I'm more into Ipsy for the actual products and not the bags, but I'll admit the ba

Ricky's Cult Crushes // May 2018

Ricky's Cult Crushes // May 2018  You may already know, but I moved all of my subscriptions to my beauty channel: AllyBrianne   You can check out my unboxings there of all of my monthly and seasonal subscriptions.  The reason I'm posting this blog today is because I just got this months Ricky's Cult Crushes in the mail last week. I planned on filming a quick unboxing to post Sunday, but my weekend got away from me so here we are. This is only my second month receiving this subscription. I'm up in the air about it honestly. Last months ( Ricky's Cult Crushes // April 2018 ) was a good box, but sadly the pans in the eyeshadow palette kept falling out! You can see all that business in the video! I was disappointed because the shadows were great.. The packaging not so much.  If you don't know what  Ricky's Cult Crushes is... It is a $11 (now $14, I'll explain) monthly subscription that has mainly beauty items. This is a subscription throug

August Ipsy Glam Bag

If you're not familiar with Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription bag with 4-5 full and/or sample sized beauty products. I've been getting one for two and an half  years  now. I don't know what took so long this month whether it was Ipsy or just USP
