Mrs. West Collection

I can't lie I fell in love with this collection when it first launched. The realistic part in me said "no" because I owned way too many eyeshadows in these shades already, but I continued to oogle at this bunch.  I had finally decided that when it restocked (since it sold out quick) that I would grab the blush and highlighter. But when the day came my impulsive side of me said "You need it all." Haha. Let me break it down though. I wanted the blush and highlighter, I LOVE her lipsticks, and had been wanting to try her lip gloss, liner, and eyeshadow formula so the buy just made sense. We'll go with that anyways. Realistically, I don't need this whole set, but do I love it? Absolutely, it's gorgeous!

The palette is smaller with only 6 shades. Which 4 are mattes and 2 are shimmers. I find it to be pretty good for this type of color story. It is super neutral with a throw of pink. Super ideal for wedding looks, which is what she was going for here. Her formula is nice and the mattes blend beautifully, but subtly. The metallics layer on lightly to blinding which is great for either preference.

Swatches left to right: PLEEEASE MARRY MEEE!!!, Etched in Stone, Mrs. West, Field of Dreams, May 24, & Just Married

Now on to the beautiful blush and highlight that were on my mind months before I actually bought them. The blush is a beautiful pink that is perfect for everyday wear or light for bridal looks. It goes the same with the stunning champagne highlight shade that is subtle, but builds up and is super flattering making it perfect for a wedding day look.

The lip liner Love has become a favorite. It is brown (so of course I love it) but lighter than my others making it natural and not dramatic. The lipstick that goes with it is a little too pink in my opinion for wedding looks (unless you want full on pink) but that is also on my fair skin. I would've preferred more of a nude. The gloss is a light pink nude so it makes up for it even though you may not want gloss on for that wedding kiss. Ha!

This collection is stunning if you're really into neutrals, your wedding day is coming up, or you're a makeup artist that does a lot of wedding/bridal looks. What is your favorite from this collection? XO

Beauty Tuesday

For my first " Beauty Tuesday", I thought I would start it off with my May Ipsy bag. If you're not familiar with Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription bag with 4-5 full and/or sample size beauty products. This June marks two years that I've received a bag. Even though some bags are hit or miss, I've continued to be subscribed so I can try out new items. I feel like Ipsy has really upped their game this year and I've loved every bag I've gotten. I'll be sharing my bag with you every month with my own personal review of the bag itself, and each product in it. I'll also blog about how certain makeup wears, feels, and my own opinion of the product. The same for skincare products, and how they work with my skin type.  I hope you enjoy my May 2017 Glam Bag (If you're interested in subscribing to Ipsy's monthly Glam Bag, I'll post the link down below). I'm more into Ipsy for the actual products and not the bags, but I'll admit the ba

Ricky's Cult Crushes // May 2018

Ricky's Cult Crushes // May 2018  You may already know, but I moved all of my subscriptions to my beauty channel: AllyBrianne   You can check out my unboxings there of all of my monthly and seasonal subscriptions.  The reason I'm posting this blog today is because I just got this months Ricky's Cult Crushes in the mail last week. I planned on filming a quick unboxing to post Sunday, but my weekend got away from me so here we are. This is only my second month receiving this subscription. I'm up in the air about it honestly. Last months ( Ricky's Cult Crushes // April 2018 ) was a good box, but sadly the pans in the eyeshadow palette kept falling out! You can see all that business in the video! I was disappointed because the shadows were great.. The packaging not so much.  If you don't know what  Ricky's Cult Crushes is... It is a $11 (now $14, I'll explain) monthly subscription that has mainly beauty items. This is a subscription throug

August Ipsy Glam Bag

I don't know what took so long this month whether it was Ipsy or just USP
