Kylie Cosmetics 22nd Birthday Collection // Makeup Monday

Kylie Cosmetics 22nd Birthday Collection // Makeup Monday

I almost felt alone with this launch. There was a bunch of backlash on how similar this collection is and I understand the lip shades are very common with a Kylie launch as well as having pinks and neutrals in her palettes, but the greens definitely won me over especially the army green shade Stacks. This palette performs like any of her past ones and I enjoy the formula so if shades call out to me I'm usually on board! This palette, in general, offers a bunch of looks you can create from everyday to glam. Although the bright green metallic is a little pop of color the other metallics are all so stunning and flattering in any look. I used the bright green I mentioned in my inner corner and it was so beautiful! I wanted to mention this collection since it was still available and Kylie has been having great sales with Black Friday and Cyber Monday! If these pictures aren't doing it for you I still suggest checking out my video with four looks to see these shades in action!

Although these shades are really pretty the problem I had was the lightest shade (Money Mindset) washing me out a little and the brightest shade (Mama Boss) being so intense that I probably wouldn't reach for it all too often. The shade (Hustle Honey) in between is so beautiful though and super flattering! I've raved before, but her traditional matte lipstick formula is such a great one! It is very comfortable and wears well with the exception of touch-ups that will be needed since they are regular lipsticks.

Swatches left to right: Breaking Records, Time For Cake, Build Your Empire, 22 Candles, Ballin Bae, Blue Faces, Work For It, Long Money, Goal Setter, Twenty Two, Bands, On A Budget, One Hunnit, Stacks, Birthday Queen, &  Time Is Money.

What did you think of her birthday collection this year? I still have a couple other palettes from her to share soon, but I'm currently drooling over her newest Christmas launch that of course sold out too fast for me to keep up!

Doucce Freematic Eyeshadow Pro Palette (Nude) Review

Doucce Freematic Eyeshadow Pro Palette (Nude) Review You may have seen that I received this Doucce palette in my FabFitFun Winter Box . I have actually tried one of their single pans of eyeshadow from a subscription in the past and I did like it and thought it was super pigmented! First of all, I love how compact and cool this freematic palette is. There is small magnets on the back of each shade and the inside of the actual palette is a magnetic board like a Z-Palette. Then I want to mention how I do really like the color layout of this. It is a pretty neutral layout and has shades that everyone has, but the undertone of these are just so different to me. In a good way for sure! They do have other palette options on their website, along with a "build your own palette" option. I will eventually review the highlight (also a bonus!) that came with this, but I want to talk mainly about the 8 eyeshadows. They're just like the single one I received and is very pigm...

Shroud Cosmetics x BattyBean Hallobean Palette | Makeup

Where to begin with this palette? Could it be the best of this season? Possibly so! This second round of Shroud Cosmetics x BattyBean is everything I could dream up for a fall palette. Sure, I love the past Its Freakin' Bats palette. It is still a favorite with its spooky vibes. What the Hallobean Palette gives is not only a spooky vibe but a fall lovers' essentials in the shade range. With 5 mattes and 4 metallics, you have a good balance in formulas that are some of the best. The mattes are pigmented but are some of the easiest shadows to blend out. The metallics are a buttery dream with the prettiest payoff. These stunning shades that are named after such iconic Halloween movies/characters are everything and new favorites.   BattyBean did an incredible job on another gorgeous color story and Shroud really does deserve all the love/hype they are getting! xx Shades left to right: Ghastly, Afterlife, Crypt, Woodsboro, It's Showtime, Black Flame, Losers Club, Ghoulish...

Amethyst | Gemstone Series

Amethyst | Gemstone Series  Today is Amethyst. I have to say I started this look a little late in the day and was rushing the beautiful golden hour to get this makeup on and get decent pictures before the sunset.  *If this is the first gemstone look you have seen the others will be linked below, but the idea is creating looks based on gemstones every week and the challenge (not really) using the ColourPop So Jaded palette to create the eye look.  ✖️Brows: Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Gel (Blonde) ✖️Eyes: Mac Cosmetics Paint Pot (Painterly) ColourPop So Jaded Palette (Ametrine, Flourite, & Amethyst) Tarte Cosmetics Big Ego Mascara I started the look with the Ametrine shade right above my crease and blended it out with a blending brush. Then I took the Flourite shade on my inner corner and brow bone as my highlight.  Then, of course, the Amethyst shade in the palette. I patted it on the lid space with my finger before blending it in my actual ...
