Bh Cosmetics x Daisy Marquez // Makeup Monday

Bh Cosmetics x Daisy Marquez // Makeup Monday

Happy Monday my beauty junkies! This post would've come sooner today, but I didn't have it typed ahead of time like I usually do with these and today has been a full day of filming before Christmas hits!
I wasn't sure if I would make a post on this palette. The biggest reason is that it launched so long ago, but I quickly realized how stupid that was and have decided to quit caring when things launch and share my thoughts anyway. I had my eye on this palette ever since Daisy posted the first photo of it on Instagram. I loved the Tiffany blue and overall look of it plus the eye looks shes started posting with it were so beautiful. When it comes to the actual packaging it honestly is a let down by how cheaply made it feels, but the whole idea of the detachable top with mirror is genius and I'm here for that. Bh Cosmetics is so affordable so it's more understandable to let the packaging issues slide. The color story is a little odd, but the actual shades are so unique and gorgeous! It offers 10 mattes (top two rows) and 10 metallics (bottom two rows). I love having it be 50/50 with those.
The mattes have a lot of kickback, but blend to perfection and the metallics are gorgeous. I found that these shadows wore very well too.  I have a 4 looks 1 palette video with this palette and love the looks I created with it. This one is definitely not a top favorite of mine because I do think the layout is strange and again the packaging, but I had a lot of fun creating with it.

Top two rows of mattes (left to right): Passion Fruit, Daisy, Vintage, Flower, Karma, Matter, Cocoa, Bittersweet, Dulce, & Naked

Bottom two rows of metallics (left to right): Cha Ching, Lust, Bougie, Dream, Royalty, Angelic, Icey, Stunt, Lucid, & $lime

Beauty Tuesday

For my first " Beauty Tuesday", I thought I would start it off with my May Ipsy bag. If you're not familiar with Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription bag with 4-5 full and/or sample size beauty products. This June marks two years that I've received a bag. Even though some bags are hit or miss, I've continued to be subscribed so I can try out new items. I feel like Ipsy has really upped their game this year and I've loved every bag I've gotten. I'll be sharing my bag with you every month with my own personal review of the bag itself, and each product in it. I'll also blog about how certain makeup wears, feels, and my own opinion of the product. The same for skincare products, and how they work with my skin type.  I hope you enjoy my May 2017 Glam Bag (If you're interested in subscribing to Ipsy's monthly Glam Bag, I'll post the link down below). I'm more into Ipsy for the actual products and not the bags, but I'll admit the ba

Ricky's Cult Crushes // May 2018

Ricky's Cult Crushes // May 2018  You may already know, but I moved all of my subscriptions to my beauty channel: AllyBrianne   You can check out my unboxings there of all of my monthly and seasonal subscriptions.  The reason I'm posting this blog today is because I just got this months Ricky's Cult Crushes in the mail last week. I planned on filming a quick unboxing to post Sunday, but my weekend got away from me so here we are. This is only my second month receiving this subscription. I'm up in the air about it honestly. Last months ( Ricky's Cult Crushes // April 2018 ) was a good box, but sadly the pans in the eyeshadow palette kept falling out! You can see all that business in the video! I was disappointed because the shadows were great.. The packaging not so much.  If you don't know what  Ricky's Cult Crushes is... It is a $11 (now $14, I'll explain) monthly subscription that has mainly beauty items. This is a subscription throug

August Ipsy Glam Bag

If you're not familiar with Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription bag with 4-5 full and/or sample sized beauty products. I've been getting one for two and an half  years  now. I'll be sharing my bag with you every month with my own personal review of the bag itself, and each product in it. I don't know what took so long this month whether it was Ipsy or just USP
