Jeffree Star Cosmetics Beauty Killer // Palette Review

Jeffree Star Cosmetics Beauty Killer // Palette Review

I believe this palette launched a couple of years ago with the Jeffree Star Cosmetics brand in general. I was wanting to try his brand for awhile and finally one day while shopping on Beautylish I seen his brand was on there and had to order some! I did a full lip swatch video on his Mini Velour Liquid Lipsticks Red & Pinks Set and I also did a full First Impressions on this JSC Beauty Killer Palette that you can check out.

The little liquid lipsticks had just launched around that time, but I went with the Beauty Killer palette because I wanted to try his first palette from his brand. First of all, do you see the pan size of this palette? They're huge! You only get 10 shades (4 mattes, 2 shimmers, & 4 metallics), but they're large pans that are going to last so long! Not to mention the pigment is there! You barely tap in and there is so much pigment! You do want to barely tap though because I have noticed a little kick back. I don't normally get any fall-out under my actual eyes though! They blend really well too, no choppy shadows, and every look has been bomb. The wear time is also great! The packaging I feel is very sleek, some might think its cheap because there isn't much to it, but I understand it was their first palette and item to launch. I actually really prefer how thin and sleek it is. I also appreciate the mirror and the design around it. The shades are so much fun! You have the perfect base and transition shades, a matte and shimmer dark shade, wearable everyday shades, and very pigmented pops of color shades! Overall, I know this is an "oldie," but if you want to splurge or have some of his others and not this one, I recommend it! I also have a couple instavideos on my Instagram (@allisonhunt_2) trying this palette out.

This palette gets a 9/10 for me!
You can get yours at Beautylish (I recommend Beautylish! They have a payment plan incase you want to splurge!) for $45.

Beauty Tuesday

For my first " Beauty Tuesday", I thought I would start it off with my May Ipsy bag. If you're not familiar with Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription bag with 4-5 full and/or sample size beauty products. This June marks two years that I've received a bag. Even though some bags are hit or miss, I've continued to be subscribed so I can try out new items. I feel like Ipsy has really upped their game this year and I've loved every bag I've gotten. I'll be sharing my bag with you every month with my own personal review of the bag itself, and each product in it. I'll also blog about how certain makeup wears, feels, and my own opinion of the product. The same for skincare products, and how they work with my skin type.  I hope you enjoy my May 2017 Glam Bag (If you're interested in subscribing to Ipsy's monthly Glam Bag, I'll post the link down below). I'm more into Ipsy for the actual products and not the bags, but I'll admit the ba

Ricky's Cult Crushes // May 2018

Ricky's Cult Crushes // May 2018  You may already know, but I moved all of my subscriptions to my beauty channel: AllyBrianne   You can check out my unboxings there of all of my monthly and seasonal subscriptions.  The reason I'm posting this blog today is because I just got this months Ricky's Cult Crushes in the mail last week. I planned on filming a quick unboxing to post Sunday, but my weekend got away from me so here we are. This is only my second month receiving this subscription. I'm up in the air about it honestly. Last months ( Ricky's Cult Crushes // April 2018 ) was a good box, but sadly the pans in the eyeshadow palette kept falling out! You can see all that business in the video! I was disappointed because the shadows were great.. The packaging not so much.  If you don't know what  Ricky's Cult Crushes is... It is a $11 (now $14, I'll explain) monthly subscription that has mainly beauty items. This is a subscription throug

August Ipsy Glam Bag

If you're not familiar with Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription bag with 4-5 full and/or sample sized beauty products. I've been getting one for two and an half  years  now. I don't know what took so long this month whether it was Ipsy or just USP
