Morphe 9C Jewel Crew // Palette Review

Morphe 9C Jewel Crew // Palette Review

I know it's not a Saturday, but I have a palette review for you guys that was suppose to go up Saturday!
I've mentioned this palette in several looks on my blog and youtube (linked below!) while trying it out. I was intrigued by these smaller palettes from Morphe. This palette is super pretty, a little powdery, and not as pigmented as I would like. Overall it is still a decent one. This would be a handy traveling palette not to mention they have a few other small palettes in different shade ranges so you can find one that suits you! The idea of these and what I have mentioned sounds great, right? This is where the bomb drops..... These shadows wear.. I kid you not... 3 hours. Thats it.
Yeah, my mind was blown. I personally haven't tried too many of Morphe's larger palettes besides the Jaclyn Hill Palette (which I adore!), but I hear amazing things about them. They're on my list of the next palettes to try out for sure to see what the deal is. Is it just me? I have tried quite a few of their single shadows that use to be pretty popular and never had these issues. I wish this palettes was more pigmented, creamy, and long-wearing, but unfortunately this falls flat. I also wanted to mentioned the price. So you get 9 shades for $12. Not bad.. But you get 35 shades in their larger palettes for $23! Super confused by that as well since the formula on these shadows aren't any better, but worse than the others. This is a miss for me. It might be a palette I hold on to for series looks, but if not it would be one I would pass along to someone else. I wouldn't recommend these just buy the $23 larger palettes so you get your moneys worth!

I give this palette a 3/10! Not so great.
The Morphe 9C palette is $12 at Ulta

Doucce Freematic Eyeshadow Pro Palette (Nude) Review

Doucce Freematic Eyeshadow Pro Palette (Nude) Review You may have seen that I received this Doucce palette in my FabFitFun Winter Box . I have actually tried one of their single pans of eyeshadow from a subscription in the past and I did like it and thought it was super pigmented! First of all, I love how compact and cool this freematic palette is. There is small magnets on the back of each shade and the inside of the actual palette is a magnetic board like a Z-Palette. Then I want to mention how I do really like the color layout of this. It is a pretty neutral layout and has shades that everyone has, but the undertone of these are just so different to me. In a good way for sure! They do have other palette options on their website, along with a "build your own palette" option. I will eventually review the highlight (also a bonus!) that came with this, but I want to talk mainly about the 8 eyeshadows. They're just like the single one I received and is very pigm...

Shroud Cosmetics x BattyBean Hallobean Palette | Makeup

Where to begin with this palette? Could it be the best of this season? Possibly so! This second round of Shroud Cosmetics x BattyBean is everything I could dream up for a fall palette. Sure, I love the past Its Freakin' Bats palette. It is still a favorite with its spooky vibes. What the Hallobean Palette gives is not only a spooky vibe but a fall lovers' essentials in the shade range. With 5 mattes and 4 metallics, you have a good balance in formulas that are some of the best. The mattes are pigmented but are some of the easiest shadows to blend out. The metallics are a buttery dream with the prettiest payoff. These stunning shades that are named after such iconic Halloween movies/characters are everything and new favorites.   BattyBean did an incredible job on another gorgeous color story and Shroud really does deserve all the love/hype they are getting! xx Shades left to right: Ghastly, Afterlife, Crypt, Woodsboro, It's Showtime, Black Flame, Losers Club, Ghoulish...

Amethyst | Gemstone Series

Amethyst | Gemstone Series  Today is Amethyst. I have to say I started this look a little late in the day and was rushing the beautiful golden hour to get this makeup on and get decent pictures before the sunset.  *If this is the first gemstone look you have seen the others will be linked below, but the idea is creating looks based on gemstones every week and the challenge (not really) using the ColourPop So Jaded palette to create the eye look.  ✖️Brows: Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Gel (Blonde) ✖️Eyes: Mac Cosmetics Paint Pot (Painterly) ColourPop So Jaded Palette (Ametrine, Flourite, & Amethyst) Tarte Cosmetics Big Ego Mascara I started the look with the Ametrine shade right above my crease and blended it out with a blending brush. Then I took the Flourite shade on my inner corner and brow bone as my highlight.  Then, of course, the Amethyst shade in the palette. I patted it on the lid space with my finger before blending it in my actual ...
