This foundation review is also a "first impressions" since I've never tried this product before. My first thought of this was that I thought the applicator was very different, but I liked it. The next thought was the smell of this product. I know I can't be the only one that smells new beauty items, but that's exactly what I did and this smells strong...like a paint smell. I wasn't sure if I even wanted this product on my face with that smell. I really have liked so many of Wet n Wild's products (especially lately) so my curiosity got the better of me and that's how this tutorial/review came to be. Once applying this I chose a round buffer brush to blend it out and that worked great. It blended out good and I was surprised with the coverage of such a cheap foundation. I thought my overall face looked pretty flawless. The smell wasn't so strong once blended out and I couldn't smell it at all once more products were added to my face. It worked well with my other products. I used a lot of Wet n Wild's products for this look, but since this day I haven't seen a difference with it using any other products. The wear time was good, but I did notice some patchy areas around my t-zone at the end of the day. This isn't a foundation I would spend high-end price on, but something I would definitely have in my collection at a drug-store price.

*Base: Light (green square) matte shade.
I blended this all over my eyes to start with a base.
*Crease: Yellow (purple square) mustard matte shade.
I blended this shade only in the crease.
*Lid: Terracotta (blue square) red shade.
I packed this all on the lid.
* Crease: Yellow (purple square) mustard matte shade.
I just blended this back in the crease to clean up the look a little.
*Middle of the lid: Shimmer (orange square) gold shade.
I patted this just on the very middle of the lid.
*Outer corner & bottom lash line: Darkish (yellow square) shade with specks of glitter.
I focused this shade on the outer corner and smoked out the bottom lash line.
*Highlight: Shimmer (black square) light shade.
I highlighted the brow bone and very inner corner.

Beauty Tuesday

For my first " Beauty Tuesday", I thought I would start it off with my May Ipsy bag. If you're not familiar with Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription bag with 4-5 full and/or sample size beauty products. This June marks two years that I've received a bag. Even though some bags are hit or miss, I've continued to be subscribed so I can try out new items. I feel like Ipsy has really upped their game this year and I've loved every bag I've gotten. I'll be sharing my bag with you every month with my own personal review of the bag itself, and each product in it. I'll also blog about how certain makeup wears, feels, and my own opinion of the product. The same for skincare products, and how they work with my skin type.  I hope you enjoy my May 2017 Glam Bag (If you're interested in subscribing to Ipsy's monthly Glam Bag, I'll post the link down below). I'm more into Ipsy for the actual products and not the bags, but I'll admit the ba

Ricky's Cult Crushes // May 2018

Ricky's Cult Crushes // May 2018  You may already know, but I moved all of my subscriptions to my beauty channel: AllyBrianne   You can check out my unboxings there of all of my monthly and seasonal subscriptions.  The reason I'm posting this blog today is because I just got this months Ricky's Cult Crushes in the mail last week. I planned on filming a quick unboxing to post Sunday, but my weekend got away from me so here we are. This is only my second month receiving this subscription. I'm up in the air about it honestly. Last months ( Ricky's Cult Crushes // April 2018 ) was a good box, but sadly the pans in the eyeshadow palette kept falling out! You can see all that business in the video! I was disappointed because the shadows were great.. The packaging not so much.  If you don't know what  Ricky's Cult Crushes is... It is a $11 (now $14, I'll explain) monthly subscription that has mainly beauty items. This is a subscription throug

August Ipsy Glam Bag

If you're not familiar with Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription bag with 4-5 full and/or sample sized beauty products. I've been getting one for two and an half  years  now. I don't know what took so long this month whether it was Ipsy or just USP
