If you have been following any of my beauty blogs, then you already know my love for this foundation. This isn't a "new" review just one that I wanted to include with these foundation reviews. This was my "holy grail" foundation this past summer. I would say this is medium coverage, but my skin always looks flawless once this is applied. I really like the color of this foundation on me. The wear time for this one is excellent for my combination skin-type. I do set this with a translucent powder usually, but sometimes just in my t-zone. I feel that it wears longer if I set my whole face, but really that's with any foundation. This is definitely a favorite of  mine. I prefer to use a beauty blender (or any sponge would do the trick) with this foundation. I seem to get the best coverage that way. The wear time is great too! Like I said, I have combo skin, and this lasts on me all day. I usually have some areas that need touched up (in between my brows, around my nose, etc...mainly my t-zone area) by the afternoon, but that's pretty common with most of my foundations.

I normally conceal my eyelids to cover up any freckles or veins so they don't stand out in my eye looks. For that reason, I almost always use a shade (Tempera blue circle)  to set my whole eye as a "base" before adding my "transition" shade (Golden Ochre green circle) into the crease. Afterwards, I add more colors, work on the blending, and pull the look altogether. I added a light shimmer shade (Primavera red circle) all over the lid for a brighter, more awake look. I still wanted to add a deeper shade (Realgar yellow circle)  with more color into my outer corner and blended through my crease to make the look more than just subtle. The key is to blend and touch up where needed until you get your desired look. This palette blends so nicely and is so pigmented that I didn't have a lot of work to do. I added a little more of my shimmer lid shade back to the look mainly because where the lid shade (Primavera red circle) and outer corner shade (Realgar yellow circle) met was too harsh of a line. Once I have that "desired" look, I almost always use the same base shade (Tempera blue circle) on my brow bone and very inner corner to highlight the eyes.
After applying my mascara, I decided to take that same outer corner shade (Realgar yellow circle) and smoke out just the outer corner of my bottom lash line.

Beauty Tuesday

For my first " Beauty Tuesday", I thought I would start it off with my May Ipsy bag. If you're not familiar with Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription bag with 4-5 full and/or sample size beauty products. This June marks two years that I've received a bag. Even though some bags are hit or miss, I've continued to be subscribed so I can try out new items. I feel like Ipsy has really upped their game this year and I've loved every bag I've gotten. I'll be sharing my bag with you every month with my own personal review of the bag itself, and each product in it. I'll also blog about how certain makeup wears, feels, and my own opinion of the product. The same for skincare products, and how they work with my skin type.  I hope you enjoy my May 2017 Glam Bag (If you're interested in subscribing to Ipsy's monthly Glam Bag, I'll post the link down below). I'm more into Ipsy for the actual products and not the bags, but I'll admit the ba

Ricky's Cult Crushes // May 2018

Ricky's Cult Crushes // May 2018  You may already know, but I moved all of my subscriptions to my beauty channel: AllyBrianne   You can check out my unboxings there of all of my monthly and seasonal subscriptions.  The reason I'm posting this blog today is because I just got this months Ricky's Cult Crushes in the mail last week. I planned on filming a quick unboxing to post Sunday, but my weekend got away from me so here we are. This is only my second month receiving this subscription. I'm up in the air about it honestly. Last months ( Ricky's Cult Crushes // April 2018 ) was a good box, but sadly the pans in the eyeshadow palette kept falling out! You can see all that business in the video! I was disappointed because the shadows were great.. The packaging not so much.  If you don't know what  Ricky's Cult Crushes is... It is a $11 (now $14, I'll explain) monthly subscription that has mainly beauty items. This is a subscription throug

August Ipsy Glam Bag

If you're not familiar with Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription bag with 4-5 full and/or sample sized beauty products. I've been getting one for two and an half  years  now. I don't know what took so long this month whether it was Ipsy or just USP
