Dew Of The Gods FijiFuji Collagen Vitamin Mask | Skincare

I've been trying a new bright and fun mask from Dew of the Gods. This brand launched in 2020 and is an LGBTQ+-owned brand! They celebrate inclusion with their brand by representing many faces and bodies of all sizes and skin tones. They also promise to include and feature members of the LGBTQ+ community in their brand and campaigns. I found the backstory to be very interesting since the owner was also a head member of Kylie Cosmetics back when that brand launched. He wanted to bring his creativity and passion for skincare into his own brand - Dew of the Gods. With respect for people and the planet, they're helping change the game of being ethical and resourceful. The packaging is made of previously-recycled components and materials. While also purchasing carbon offsets for the air and ocean transport of their products. Dew resources ingredients from all over the world but make sure it is done right by making sure it is ethically sourced. From monitoring the environmental impact, paying fair for all employees, and raw materials that make their products. This cruelty-free brand keeps fillers, preservatives, and chemicals out of its products. They promise every product is a work of art so that your skincare is never boring!

FijiFuji Collagen Vitamin Mask

This vitamin-packed mask works to brighten, tone, and lift your skin to restore its "natural bounce." Made with "thick electric kaolin," vegan collagen, vitamin-C, and lychee extract. There is also a dash of hyaluronic acid to give your skin the overall detox and glow.

I've been using this mask for the past few weeks and really enjoy it. I love the texture of this whipped mask. It feels incredible going on the skin and dries quickly making it a quick and easy mask to use. I have found it to be super gentle on my skin while giving it a good detox. I do notice a little purging to my skin - which is great since it's doing what it's meant to do and clearing out my skin but keep it in mind if you try this and have plans. You may experience those purging breakouts from everything coming to the surface. It clears up pretty quickly. I also found it doing the same for my pores that usually gather blackheads. Everything came up to the surface and cleaned out with a little exfoliant over the next day or two. I did notice a glow in my skin too. I am loving this mask and also love the bonus of the fun packaging and color! Give this brand and/or mask a try and let me know what you think. xx

Beauty Tuesday

For my first " Beauty Tuesday", I thought I would start it off with my May Ipsy bag. If you're not familiar with Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription bag with 4-5 full and/or sample size beauty products. This June marks two years that I've received a bag. Even though some bags are hit or miss, I've continued to be subscribed so I can try out new items. I feel like Ipsy has really upped their game this year and I've loved every bag I've gotten. I'll be sharing my bag with you every month with my own personal review of the bag itself, and each product in it. I'll also blog about how certain makeup wears, feels, and my own opinion of the product. The same for skincare products, and how they work with my skin type.  I hope you enjoy my May 2017 Glam Bag (If you're interested in subscribing to Ipsy's monthly Glam Bag, I'll post the link down below). I'm more into Ipsy for the actual products and not the bags, but I'll admit the ba

Ricky's Cult Crushes // May 2018

Ricky's Cult Crushes // May 2018  You may already know, but I moved all of my subscriptions to my beauty channel: AllyBrianne   You can check out my unboxings there of all of my monthly and seasonal subscriptions.  The reason I'm posting this blog today is because I just got this months Ricky's Cult Crushes in the mail last week. I planned on filming a quick unboxing to post Sunday, but my weekend got away from me so here we are. This is only my second month receiving this subscription. I'm up in the air about it honestly. Last months ( Ricky's Cult Crushes // April 2018 ) was a good box, but sadly the pans in the eyeshadow palette kept falling out! You can see all that business in the video! I was disappointed because the shadows were great.. The packaging not so much.  If you don't know what  Ricky's Cult Crushes is... It is a $11 (now $14, I'll explain) monthly subscription that has mainly beauty items. This is a subscription throug

August Ipsy Glam Bag

If you're not familiar with Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription bag with 4-5 full and/or sample sized beauty products. I've been getting one for two and an half  years  now. I don't know what took so long this month whether it was Ipsy or just USP
