Lunar Beauty Moon Spell Vol 2 | Makeup

I've been loving the newest additions to the Lunar Beauty Moon Spell line. This holiday season we got a vol 2 palette and 3 new lippies. There is a new twist to the packaging in color and slightly different with the design. The witchy vibes are here to stay and I'm loving it!

Moon Spell Vol. 2

The colors is different than what I would expect but I have been loving it. I thought it was too much purple and pink (omg, not me thinking too much purple!?!) but once these shades are applied they're so unique! The undertones are witchy and go amazing with the theme and the fact that each shade is named after famous witches. If you didn't know the formula has changed on Lunar Beauty palettes. To keep pricing the same while having amazing quality the owner/creator Manny (aka Manny MUA) tested different labs until he was content with the current one. I can say I haven't noticed too much of a difference. Only the deepest purple I had the slightest patchiness going on. Lunar Beauty eyeshadow formula is my top favorite so I was nervous and upset about the change but this palette has performed just as well. I think I have the same taste as Manny when it comes to shadows because it's another 10/10 with this formula. The mattes are so pigmented and blend amazingly. The metallics are like a dream. The payoff is insane with the shimmer. Between full-on metallics to shimmer toppers, I'm obsessed with these. The only difference I have really found is this palette is a little lighter in weight than the original (see more details in my first impressions video below) and that it has a whole extra row of shades. 20 shades total!

Top swatches left to right: Agatha, Luna, Mildred, Myrtle, Misty, Alex, Camryn, Sally, Gillian, & Willow

Bottom swatches left to right: Louise, Zelda, Hilda, Grams, Freya, Maggie, Mel, Macy, Queenie, & Marie

Lip Shades top to bottom: Coven, Hallow's Eve, & Bitchcraft

You can see not only the shadows in action in the photos below but also the lippies. With this collection, we have a new liquid lipstick, Hallow's Eve that is a beautiful fall orange moment. It sounds intimidating but it is such a flattering shade. The two others are glosses and it's the same amazing quality with all of these. The liquid lipsticks wear incredibly and are comfortable. The glosses are also so comfortable. I always brag about the glosses and the luxury formula they have. The glosses are both pretty sheer. Coven has a gold shimmer to it. You don't feel the glitter/shimmer whatsoever in either shade. The Bitchcraft shade is a beautiful magenta hue that is super wearable and pairs so well with these palette shades.

This first look was a witchy look I did back in October but I'm still obsessed with it. I used shades, Agatha, Macy,  Alex, & Luna. The lip shades are a previous liquid lipstick from Lunar Beauty in the shade, Wicked with the Bitchcraft gloss over top.

The shades used for this look are Maggie & Luna. On the lips, I have a Lippie Pencil from ColourPop in Cool BFF with Coven gloss over top.

The shades worn in this look are Camryn, Mildred, Agatha, & Mel.

The shades used in this look were Agatha, Sally, & Willow.

The lip here is Hallow's Eve Liquid Lipstick.

I'm loving this collection so much and if you are too then check out my videos below for some inspo look ideas. xo

Beauty Tuesday

For my first " Beauty Tuesday", I thought I would start it off with my May Ipsy bag. If you're not familiar with Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription bag with 4-5 full and/or sample size beauty products. This June marks two years that I've received a bag. Even though some bags are hit or miss, I've continued to be subscribed so I can try out new items. I feel like Ipsy has really upped their game this year and I've loved every bag I've gotten. I'll be sharing my bag with you every month with my own personal review of the bag itself, and each product in it. I'll also blog about how certain makeup wears, feels, and my own opinion of the product. The same for skincare products, and how they work with my skin type.  I hope you enjoy my May 2017 Glam Bag (If you're interested in subscribing to Ipsy's monthly Glam Bag, I'll post the link down below). I'm more into Ipsy for the actual products and not the bags, but I'll admit the ba

Ricky's Cult Crushes // May 2018

Ricky's Cult Crushes // May 2018  You may already know, but I moved all of my subscriptions to my beauty channel: AllyBrianne   You can check out my unboxings there of all of my monthly and seasonal subscriptions.  The reason I'm posting this blog today is because I just got this months Ricky's Cult Crushes in the mail last week. I planned on filming a quick unboxing to post Sunday, but my weekend got away from me so here we are. This is only my second month receiving this subscription. I'm up in the air about it honestly. Last months ( Ricky's Cult Crushes // April 2018 ) was a good box, but sadly the pans in the eyeshadow palette kept falling out! You can see all that business in the video! I was disappointed because the shadows were great.. The packaging not so much.  If you don't know what  Ricky's Cult Crushes is... It is a $11 (now $14, I'll explain) monthly subscription that has mainly beauty items. This is a subscription throug

August Ipsy Glam Bag

If you're not familiar with Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription bag with 4-5 full and/or sample sized beauty products. I've been getting one for two and an half  years  now. I don't know what took so long this month whether it was Ipsy or just USP
