Sailor Moon x ColourPop // Makeup

Sailor Moon x ColourPop // Makeup

I've been playing with this palette for the past month and I'm absolutely loving it! I mean it made it into my April favorites after two weeks of using it nonstop, so that's saying something! What I have loved the most is the brightness of this palette. Although the shades are bright they are more on the pastel side so they're more wearable, but definitely buildable for that pigment. You can check out the 4 looks I created with this palette to see what I mean. I LOVE a good pigmented yellow and ColourPop didn't disappoint with this one! It is so pigmented and gorgeous.
This palette has 3 mattes, 4 mattes that have light glitter to them (There really isn't much glitter to them once applied, but I prefer them matte anyways.), 3 metallics, 1 super shock shadow, and 1 pressed glitter. Yes a lot is going on here! You can create neutral looks, light color looks, single pops of color looks, and super bright colorful looks. I love this palette. The packaging won me over in the beginning being Sailor Moon, but now I'm more so won over by the gorgeous color story and of course, ColourPop's amazing formula.

Swatches left to right: Shining Moon, Twilight Flash, Silver Crystal, Moon Castle, Full Moon, Silver Millennium, Mare Serenitatis, Luna, Justice, Tuxedo Rose, Love, & Miracle Romance

I missed out on the rest of the collection unfortunately since there was some beautiful blushes and another lip set. There was also body glitter, but that's not really my thing.
The Daylight lip kit is really pretty though! I like ColourPop's gloss and blotted lip formula. The blotted lip is a muted matte finish and is super comfortable on the lips. The shade Usagi is very flattering too. The gloss shade Moon Tiara is a peach shade that has shimmer to it. They're both really wearable lip shades and I have loved using them with the looks I created with the palette.

Swatches top to bottom: Usagi (Ultra Blotted Lip) & Moon Tiara (Ultra Glossy Lip)

Doucce Freematic Eyeshadow Pro Palette (Nude) Review

Doucce Freematic Eyeshadow Pro Palette (Nude) Review You may have seen that I received this Doucce palette in my FabFitFun Winter Box . I have actually tried one of their single pans of eyeshadow from a subscription in the past and I did like it and thought it was super pigmented! First of all, I love how compact and cool this freematic palette is. There is small magnets on the back of each shade and the inside of the actual palette is a magnetic board like a Z-Palette. Then I want to mention how I do really like the color layout of this. It is a pretty neutral layout and has shades that everyone has, but the undertone of these are just so different to me. In a good way for sure! They do have other palette options on their website, along with a "build your own palette" option. I will eventually review the highlight (also a bonus!) that came with this, but I want to talk mainly about the 8 eyeshadows. They're just like the single one I received and is very pigm...

Shroud Cosmetics x BattyBean Hallobean Palette | Makeup

Where to begin with this palette? Could it be the best of this season? Possibly so! This second round of Shroud Cosmetics x BattyBean is everything I could dream up for a fall palette. Sure, I love the past Its Freakin' Bats palette. It is still a favorite with its spooky vibes. What the Hallobean Palette gives is not only a spooky vibe but a fall lovers' essentials in the shade range. With 5 mattes and 4 metallics, you have a good balance in formulas that are some of the best. The mattes are pigmented but are some of the easiest shadows to blend out. The metallics are a buttery dream with the prettiest payoff. These stunning shades that are named after such iconic Halloween movies/characters are everything and new favorites.   BattyBean did an incredible job on another gorgeous color story and Shroud really does deserve all the love/hype they are getting! xx Shades left to right: Ghastly, Afterlife, Crypt, Woodsboro, It's Showtime, Black Flame, Losers Club, Ghoulish...

Amethyst | Gemstone Series

Amethyst | Gemstone Series  Today is Amethyst. I have to say I started this look a little late in the day and was rushing the beautiful golden hour to get this makeup on and get decent pictures before the sunset.  *If this is the first gemstone look you have seen the others will be linked below, but the idea is creating looks based on gemstones every week and the challenge (not really) using the ColourPop So Jaded palette to create the eye look.  ✖️Brows: Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Gel (Blonde) ✖️Eyes: Mac Cosmetics Paint Pot (Painterly) ColourPop So Jaded Palette (Ametrine, Flourite, & Amethyst) Tarte Cosmetics Big Ego Mascara I started the look with the Ametrine shade right above my crease and blended it out with a blending brush. Then I took the Flourite shade on my inner corner and brow bone as my highlight.  Then, of course, the Amethyst shade in the palette. I patted it on the lid space with my finger before blending it in my actual ...
