KKW Fragrance x Kylie Jenner

KKW Fragrance x Kylie Jenner

I have developed a perfume obsession... More like a KKW Fragrance obsession. I went year after year using body mists from Victoria Secret Pink line to falling in love with Sol de Janeiro body mist. Although I love that body mist and still use it I wanted something more special to wear instead of the "everyday body mist" for when we went out. I started going through my old stash of perfume to realize most of it wasn't my taste anymore or I was bored with it. I may do a perfume collection video at some point, but that led me to KKW Frangrance that I already had my eyes on for a while now! I was so torn on what to get and then like it was meant to be (haha) a sale hit and I bought the Kylie Jenner Lip Bundle. I'm so happy with this purchase! I was so happy with it that I bought the Crystal Pear & Peony Fragrance right after and already blogged about it since it was limited edition. I thought I would do a little run down on each of these three as well as share the keynotes from the website so you get a better idea of these scents and which one would be perfect for you. She is currently running a sale for Valentine's day so all three of these (including the bundle) are on sale!
More fragrance blog post are coming too!

OPENING: BLOOD ORANGE, RED LOTUS FLOWER
HEART: RED GARDENIA, EXOTIC YLANG, WARM AMBRETTE
FINISH: VANILLA BEAN, RED CEDAR, PLUSH MUSKS

While I want to make it clear that these three are all sweet scents compared to her other fragrances, this one is the least sweet out of the bunch.
It has a slight fruity smell, but the floral notes stick out more to me. The floral with a hint of vanilla makes this the perfect sultry scent for date night. It is a sexy scent that sticks out to me because I have always been someone who loves more sweet scents than spicy ones. Since I've gotten a little older I'm wanting to branch out to less sweet ones, but these are still perfect in between that I'm looking for.

OPENING: SOLAR SPICES, LILY OF THE VALLEY
HEART: NUDE MAGNOLIA, JASMINE, PEONY
FINISH: TAHITIAN VANILLA, VIBRANT AMBER, MUSK

The Nude is the sweetest to me out of the three. It has a lot of floral to it, but the vanilla overpowers this one but in the most amazing way. The florals level it out. I have used this one the most and it is probably my favorite out of them. If I had to pick a signature scent it would be this. I love coconut scents (and would love a heavy coconut scent from Kim), but this still would win me over from any perfumes I have had. I know some don't prefer musk so I wanted to say that the musk isn't heavy on this scent.

OPENING: MANDARIN, ITALIAN BERGAMOT
HEART: SOLAR GARDENIA, COCONUT WATER, EXOTIC TIARE
FINISH: CREAMY COCONUT, PINK MUSK, SANDALWOOD, LIQUID AMBER

This scent is hard to pinpoint because there is so much to it. Above I mentioned coconut and while this does have "coconut water" and "creamy coconut" it is balanced well with the other keynotes because it really is such a good scent, but because of the other keynotes, it doesn't smell of straight-up coconut either. This one does smell the most tropical to me and I feel like this would be my pick out of the three to take with me on vacation to the beach.

They all smell amazing and like I said before I'm very happy with this purchase. Kim and Kylie killed it on these scents that are so unique and flattering. While I say they are all sweet I truly mean they are not too spicy and that if you like sweet scents like me you will love these. But if you prefer sweet scents to be lighter I still feel like you would love these because all the notes level them out... They aren't heavy sweet scents that will give you a headache. They're such nice scents that I think so many would love. XO

Beauty Tuesday

For my first " Beauty Tuesday", I thought I would start it off with my May Ipsy bag. If you're not familiar with Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription bag with 4-5 full and/or sample size beauty products. This June marks two years that I've received a bag. Even though some bags are hit or miss, I've continued to be subscribed so I can try out new items. I feel like Ipsy has really upped their game this year and I've loved every bag I've gotten. I'll be sharing my bag with you every month with my own personal review of the bag itself, and each product in it. I'll also blog about how certain makeup wears, feels, and my own opinion of the product. The same for skincare products, and how they work with my skin type.  I hope you enjoy my May 2017 Glam Bag (If you're interested in subscribing to Ipsy's monthly Glam Bag, I'll post the link down below). I'm more into Ipsy for the actual products and not the bags, but I'll admit the ba

Ricky's Cult Crushes // May 2018

Ricky's Cult Crushes // May 2018  You may already know, but I moved all of my subscriptions to my beauty channel: AllyBrianne   You can check out my unboxings there of all of my monthly and seasonal subscriptions.  The reason I'm posting this blog today is because I just got this months Ricky's Cult Crushes in the mail last week. I planned on filming a quick unboxing to post Sunday, but my weekend got away from me so here we are. This is only my second month receiving this subscription. I'm up in the air about it honestly. Last months ( Ricky's Cult Crushes // April 2018 ) was a good box, but sadly the pans in the eyeshadow palette kept falling out! You can see all that business in the video! I was disappointed because the shadows were great.. The packaging not so much.  If you don't know what  Ricky's Cult Crushes is... It is a $11 (now $14, I'll explain) monthly subscription that has mainly beauty items. This is a subscription throug

August Ipsy Glam Bag

If you're not familiar with Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription bag with 4-5 full and/or sample sized beauty products. I've been getting one for two and an half  years  now. I don't know what took so long this month whether it was Ipsy or just USP
