Dose of Colors Meet Your Hue Foundation // Makeup Monday

Dose of Colors Meet Your Hue Foundation // Makeup Monday

It's been a while since I've done a foundation blog post I feel. You know what that means! This is going to be an "all over the place" type of blog. Haha! I apologize, but I for one have been having such a great Monday and then realized... Shit, it's Monday and I haven't even started my Makeup Monday post. I usually type these up the week before, but here I am.
This foundation stuck out to me the most during the 2019 foundation fiasco. Don't get me wrong, I love my ABH, but even so, this just called to me with its semi-matte finish for the fall and winter. ABH foundation I'm coming for you! I'm now getting to the weird winter phase of jumping from mattes to dewy and back again. Dewy is just gorgeous in the winter. In the midst of that, I find myself still reaching for this foundation. It has such a beautiful finish and great coverage whether you go light or build it up greater. The packaging is so sleek. The outer box and the actual product. It's a glass bottle with a pump that I really do like (even though you usually can't get the last bit out in that kind) and it feels of amazing quality. The shade range is bomb with different ranges and different undertones in each range! This was perfect for me since I struggle to find a good neutral tone foundation that is fair enough, but not too fair that I look like a piece of paper. I picked up the shade 103 which is described as fair with neutral undertones. It is perfect for me!  The longevity was nice and I can get full day wear without drying out or going patchy. You can see a wear test in my First Impressions. This bottle holds 30 mL. | 1 Fl. Oz. which is standard and retails for $36. It's not drugstore, but not bad for high-end price either. It's worth it in my book and has the high-end qualities to it. If you like semi-matte or matte foundation I highly recommend this gem. They have a Meet Your Hue concealer that I need to get my hands on!

I was so intrigued by the shape of this sponge so I picked it up with the foundation. I LOVE the flat bottom side, but I still prefer the beauty blender tip over this more pointy one. I love the texture of how soft it is and how evenly it applies foundation. Not just Dose foundation, but every foundation I have tried with it has worked amazingly. Plus it's only $15 and while that's not as cheap as morphe or real techniques it is cheaper than beauty blender!

Did you pick up this foundation? XO

Beauty Tuesday

For my first " Beauty Tuesday", I thought I would start it off with my May Ipsy bag. If you're not familiar with Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription bag with 4-5 full and/or sample size beauty products. This June marks two years that I've received a bag. Even though some bags are hit or miss, I've continued to be subscribed so I can try out new items. I feel like Ipsy has really upped their game this year and I've loved every bag I've gotten. I'll be sharing my bag with you every month with my own personal review of the bag itself, and each product in it. I'll also blog about how certain makeup wears, feels, and my own opinion of the product. The same for skincare products, and how they work with my skin type.  I hope you enjoy my May 2017 Glam Bag (If you're interested in subscribing to Ipsy's monthly Glam Bag, I'll post the link down below). I'm more into Ipsy for the actual products and not the bags, but I'll admit the ba

Ricky's Cult Crushes // May 2018

Ricky's Cult Crushes // May 2018  You may already know, but I moved all of my subscriptions to my beauty channel: AllyBrianne   You can check out my unboxings there of all of my monthly and seasonal subscriptions.  The reason I'm posting this blog today is because I just got this months Ricky's Cult Crushes in the mail last week. I planned on filming a quick unboxing to post Sunday, but my weekend got away from me so here we are. This is only my second month receiving this subscription. I'm up in the air about it honestly. Last months ( Ricky's Cult Crushes // April 2018 ) was a good box, but sadly the pans in the eyeshadow palette kept falling out! You can see all that business in the video! I was disappointed because the shadows were great.. The packaging not so much.  If you don't know what  Ricky's Cult Crushes is... It is a $11 (now $14, I'll explain) monthly subscription that has mainly beauty items. This is a subscription throug

August Ipsy Glam Bag

If you're not familiar with Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription bag with 4-5 full and/or sample sized beauty products. I've been getting one for two and an half  years  now. I don't know what took so long this month whether it was Ipsy or just USP
