Anastasia Beverly Hills // Prism Palette Review

Anastasia Beverly Hills // Prism Palette Review

Another beauty from Anastasia Beverly Hills. I was so excited to hear that this was launching, but when I seen the shades I thought they maybe a little too much like the shades from their Subculture palette that I was trying out at the time. If you read that blog and/or any previous ones then you know how much I love ABH shadows. After seeing a few different eye looks created with this I knew I wanted it! Let me tell you, in person it is so much different than the Subculture! While I love the Subculture shades and how wearable they are I really like the shades in this palette. These are such fun colorful shades that you can really get creative! For me this was like the Kat Von D Saint & Sinner when it came to the shade selection. I was immediately inspired with look ideas! The mattes are really good, but the shimmer/metallics?! They're so amazing that it's worth it to buy this palette just for them! The pigmentation is there for all the shades, but even more so for the shimmer/metallics! They feel like butter, which makes them easier to work with when patting on the lid with a finger. I haven't experienced fall-out with these shadows. I've already been hearing complaints that this is "just as bad as Subculture" I may be a fan of that palette, but seriously these don't fall all over your face. The blending and shadow formula themselves feel more like Modern Renaissance to me. This palette has 14 beautiful shades. 7 mattes and 7 metallics.  This is another ABH palette well done for me!
Anastasia Beverly Hills Prism Palette is a 10/10 for me!
Prism palette is limited-edition for the holiday season so grab it fast! This is $42 and you can find it on ABH, Sphora, & Ulta

Beauty Tuesday

For my first " Beauty Tuesday", I thought I would start it off with my May Ipsy bag. If you're not familiar with Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription bag with 4-5 full and/or sample size beauty products. This June marks two years that I've received a bag. Even though some bags are hit or miss, I've continued to be subscribed so I can try out new items. I feel like Ipsy has really upped their game this year and I've loved every bag I've gotten. I'll be sharing my bag with you every month with my own personal review of the bag itself, and each product in it. I'll also blog about how certain makeup wears, feels, and my own opinion of the product. The same for skincare products, and how they work with my skin type.  I hope you enjoy my May 2017 Glam Bag (If you're interested in subscribing to Ipsy's monthly Glam Bag, I'll post the link down below). I'm more into Ipsy for the actual products and not the bags, but I'll admit the ba

Ricky's Cult Crushes // May 2018

Ricky's Cult Crushes // May 2018  You may already know, but I moved all of my subscriptions to my beauty channel: AllyBrianne   You can check out my unboxings there of all of my monthly and seasonal subscriptions.  The reason I'm posting this blog today is because I just got this months Ricky's Cult Crushes in the mail last week. I planned on filming a quick unboxing to post Sunday, but my weekend got away from me so here we are. This is only my second month receiving this subscription. I'm up in the air about it honestly. Last months ( Ricky's Cult Crushes // April 2018 ) was a good box, but sadly the pans in the eyeshadow palette kept falling out! You can see all that business in the video! I was disappointed because the shadows were great.. The packaging not so much.  If you don't know what  Ricky's Cult Crushes is... It is a $11 (now $14, I'll explain) monthly subscription that has mainly beauty items. This is a subscription throug

August Ipsy Glam Bag

If you're not familiar with Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription bag with 4-5 full and/or sample sized beauty products. I've been getting one for two and an half  years  now. I don't know what took so long this month whether it was Ipsy or just USP
