Emerald | Gemstone Series

Emerald | Gemstone Series Emerald is another special birthstone because my youngest is a May baby. I love the rich green of emeralds too. This look is perfect for fall as I added a little warmth to it as well.  *If this is the first gemstone look you have seen the others will be linked below, but the idea is creating looks based on gemstones every week and the challenge (not really) using the ColourPop So Jaded palette to create the eye look.  ✖️Brows: Tarte Cosmetics Busy Gal Brows (Taupe) ✖️Eyes:  Mac Cosmetics Paint Pot (Painterly) ColourPop So Jaded Palette (Citrine, Pearl, Jade & Emerald) ColourPop BBF Volumizing Mascara I warmed the eye up a bit with the yellow Citrine shadow blending it through the crease before highlighting the brow bone and inner corner with Pearl .  Then I took the rich Jade shade through the crease almost like I was doing a cut crease. The main event, Emerald , then went straight on the lid.  ✖️Face: Elf Poreless Put...

Brazilian Joia Strengthening + Smoothing Shampoo & Conditioner | Sol de Janeiro

Brazilian Joia Strengthening + Smoothing Shampoo & Conditioner | Sol de Janeiro  Shampoo & Conditioner   I used to talk so highly of my favorite shampoo & conditioner from OGX and while they are still great... I have found my new loves. Sol de Janeiro has won me over in the past with their Bum Bum Cream, Coco Cabana Cream, body wash , and more! I honestly was still skeptical going into these.. I mean they aren't known for haircare products so you never know and the price point.. whew.  I was already wanting to up my haircare game, but was leaning towards Ouai (I still want to try theirs too!) and with it being the same price point.. I finally chose Sol de because of reviews. Everyone was obsessed with how soft their hair was and complimenting the bum bum scent really made the choice for me. First impressions was, of course, it smells delicious and just like their bum bum . I was in love with the first use. But when I tell you guys.. My hair has ...

Blue Topaz | Gemstone Series

Blue Topaz | Gemstone Series  Today is Blue Topaz. I got a little crazy with this look...Meaning I went too far with shades that may not resemble blue topaz that much. The hard part was not having a lot of blue options for blue topaz besides what I have already done for aquamarine. I took a new spin on it with a deeper blue, warm tones layered with icy tones, and aquamarine in the inner corner to represent blue topaz in this look. Since it's Decembers birth stone I always think of it being a winter icy vibe, but was in the mood for a little warmth too.  *If this is the first gemstone look you have seen the others will be linked below, but the idea is creating looks based on gemstones every week and the challenge (not really) using the ColourPop So Jaded palette to create the eye look.  ✖️Brows: Benefit Cosmetics Goof Proof Brow Pencil (2) ABH Clear Brow Gel ✖️Eyes: Mac Cosmetics Paint Pot (Painterly) ColourPop So Jaded Palette (You're A ...

Mascaras | Makeup

Mascaras | Makeup You may be clicking on this blog to see my "top 5 mascaras," but that isn't what this is. If you would like to see that in the future then hit me up.  This blog is for the ones I've recently been reviewing. Some are newer to the game and some have been around awhile. I went through a mascara phase where I used what worked and didn't open any others that I had laying around to try out. Sounds normal, right? But the problem was I had all these mascaras from subscriptions to try out and review.. But I kept buying my mains over and over while the others sat there.  The past few months I started opening new ones little by little. Baby steps in a way. I now have quite a few to talk about. I have some new loves and some major duds.  (1) Thrive Causmetics Liquid Lash Extensions $24 Alright this one was recommended so many times as a "favorite" from many. I don't know if it was the hype that left me a little underwhelmed with this one or i...
