Merit Beauty Signature Lip | Makeup

"INTRODUCING SIGNATURE LIP — COMFORTABLE COLOR THAT'S SO LIGHTWEIGHT, YOU'LL FORGET YOU'RE WEARING IT." - Merit Beauty

There is a new brand on my radar this year, Merit Beauty. From the breathtaking packaging to the minimalist vibe. I'm here for it. The subtle glow is their vibe for the everyday person. They cater to it with products everyone would love. So when Merit Beauty reached out to send over their new Signature Lip I was thrilled! This hydrating, buildable lipstick has a soft satin finish. It not only is your lipstick shade but also has the benefits to nourish your lips. It is moisturizing with plant-derived squalane and sunflower seed oil paired with stabilized vitamin C to give a comfortable, light-as-air finish. Did I mention the coverage is buildable? You can take it from a swipe of lip balm to a pigmented flush of color. I chose the shades Baby, a flattering pinky nude, and 1990, that gorgeous brown we adore from the '90s. They're both so flattering on and such a vibe. Merit beauty is also looking out for you and the planet creating safe products for both. Their products are clean, vegan, and cruelty-free. - "Luxury can be responsible. - We aim to eliminate as much virgin plastic as possible from our products and operations, and our shipment packaging is recyclable, reusable, or biodegradable." Every first order comes with the Merit bag that is made to last. I'm super impressed with this brand and look forward to trying more of what they have to offer. Check out their new Signature Lip and let me know what you think! xx

Beauty Tuesday

For my first " Beauty Tuesday", I thought I would start it off with my May Ipsy bag. If you're not familiar with Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription bag with 4-5 full and/or sample size beauty products. This June marks two years that I've received a bag. Even though some bags are hit or miss, I've continued to be subscribed so I can try out new items. I feel like Ipsy has really upped their game this year and I've loved every bag I've gotten. I'll be sharing my bag with you every month with my own personal review of the bag itself, and each product in it. I'll also blog about how certain makeup wears, feels, and my own opinion of the product. The same for skincare products, and how they work with my skin type.  I hope you enjoy my May 2017 Glam Bag (If you're interested in subscribing to Ipsy's monthly Glam Bag, I'll post the link down below). I'm more into Ipsy for the actual products and not the bags, but I'll admit the ba

Ricky's Cult Crushes // May 2018

Ricky's Cult Crushes // May 2018  You may already know, but I moved all of my subscriptions to my beauty channel: AllyBrianne   You can check out my unboxings there of all of my monthly and seasonal subscriptions.  The reason I'm posting this blog today is because I just got this months Ricky's Cult Crushes in the mail last week. I planned on filming a quick unboxing to post Sunday, but my weekend got away from me so here we are. This is only my second month receiving this subscription. I'm up in the air about it honestly. Last months ( Ricky's Cult Crushes // April 2018 ) was a good box, but sadly the pans in the eyeshadow palette kept falling out! You can see all that business in the video! I was disappointed because the shadows were great.. The packaging not so much.  If you don't know what  Ricky's Cult Crushes is... It is a $11 (now $14, I'll explain) monthly subscription that has mainly beauty items. This is a subscription throug

August Ipsy Glam Bag

If you're not familiar with Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription bag with 4-5 full and/or sample sized beauty products. I've been getting one for two and an half  years  now. I don't know what took so long this month whether it was Ipsy or just USP
