Rebel Rouge Labs Gods & Monsters | Makeup


Another gem from Rebel Rouge Labs. If you're just now hearing about this brand, it is one I found on Instagram and fell in love with its aesthetic. I then found out it was a small indie brand on Etsy and was even more excited to support it! This brand is also woman-owned and she is a sweetheart with a true passion for what she creates. I've been blown away by each launch and it's coming up on a whole year of trying and loving this brand! I talked about the Howlin' For You palette last year and it was one that came back this year! This year I fell in love with Prelude to Agony and now we have Gods & Monsters. 

This palette is chef kisses. It is such a unique color scheme that I have been loving this summer. You have a nice balance of warm tones and color shades that really pact a punch in pigment. The Dauphin blue has become a go-to favorite shade of mine. It is so pigmented and bright! If you were wondering about the formula it is a 10/10 and better than so many high-end brands I have tried. The mattes go a long way and are so blendable while the metallics are soft and buttery with amazing payoff. They wear amazingly and with each look I'm always blown away. 

This palette has definitely helped spark inspiration into me with my makeup too. I've paired so many shades together in this that I never would've thought I would like and it just works! Those types of palettes are my favorites because I never get bored, just even more inspired to keep creating. Good Molecules Pineapple Exfoliating Powder \\ Skincare Pineapple Exfoliating Powder I was so skeptical about this product. I mean it is a super fine powder that is suppose to exfoliate my skin. It is a super fine powder, but it still does the trick! While being extremely gentle to the skin the natural starch and silk powder exfoliates your skin removing dead skin build up and surface build up in pores. On top of that it will leave your skin glowing with the 3-0 ethyl ascorbic acid from all the fruit extracts in this. It has not only pineapple, but also kiwi and papaya! What's even better (that I have absolutely loved!) is that this is made without microbeads, nuts, or anything that will be too harsh and could potentially scratch the surface of your skin.  While being super gentle it will also leave your skin soothed and calm with the calamine powder and allantoin that is in it too.  Sorry I sound like an infomercial in these blogs. Black Moon Cosmetics Lip Trio | Makeup

  Mini Moon Liquid to Matte Nude Trio (Deep/Dark) I was happy to make another purchase from the indie brand, Black Moon Cosmetics . I bought the Urban Myth palette last fall and fell in love with it! The brand has since caught my attention over and over with it's clever packaging, overall asethetic, and unique shades. And not just with eyeshadow but with lipsticks as well. Their shade range in lip products are so cool and the packaging is beautiful. I have to say I'm still usually on the fence about trying new liquid lipsticks. To be honest, I feel I have found formulas/brands that work for me and that I know wear amazingly and feel comfortable (not too drying) and I've stuck to those when buying new shades. So it put me off for awhile until I seen them advertise these adorable tin moon holders. At first I seen them and thought of decor, they were so cute!
