Colourpop x Disney Midnight Masquerade | Makeup

Colourpop x Disney Midnight Masquerade | Makeup

If you follow me on YouTube you would know my love for Disney. So ColourPop always wins me over with their Disney collections. The Midnight Masquerade collection didn't disappoint either. I love this palette so much more than the last princess palette. It has soft pretty romantic shades while still giving you pops of colors instead of being basically neutrals like the last princess palette.
I love that they have continued with the extra products curated to each of these princesses. In this collections case it is a pressed powder highlight or blush and a lux liquid lipstick.
The palette has 8 matte shades, 5 metallics, & two pressed glitters. The formulas are the known and loved ColourPop formula so they're amazing. I love each look I have made with this palette, which has been a lot, with my Disney series on my channel. If you want to see different looks with this palette then check it out, but I will link each of the videos below with the sets.
Back to the sets we have either a highlight or blush. They're the pressed powder formula instead of the super shock formula. I really enjoy these. The Lux Liquid Lipstick formula was brand new with this collection, but has now grown to a full other collection on their site. This liquid lipstick is so nice. It is super light weight like a comfort matte and mousse-like when you apply it. The good thing is they wear nicely has a comfort matte without drying completely down on the lips. They leave a little stain to the lips too so if it does start to wear down it doesn't look crazy.
I do have a Lip Swatch video on these shades if you want to see them all swatched on the lips.
If you check out my Disney series on my channel make sure to check out/support each creator I collaborated with in this series! XO

*Side note: I tried to link all the products. ColourPop has already discontinued some of them unfortunately.

Swatches left to right: Spinning Wheel, Damsel, Pip, Enchanted, Mama Odie, Djali, Floating Lanterns, Mrs. Potts, Royal Ball, Frog & Wife, Nutmeg, New Dream, Gaston,  Quasimodo, & Merryweather

Rapunzel's set is so pretty! The lip shade is super flattering and the pink blush shade is the perfect blush shade in my opinion! It has become a favorite blush for me and I love how buildable the pink is.

Blush - Floating Lights
Lux Liquid Lipstick - Flynn

This set isn't as wearable, but still beautiful and on point for Megara. You have a beautiful purple highlighter with a berry lip shade.

Highlight - Big Tough Girl
Lux Liquid Lipstick - Wonderboy

This is one of my favorites out of the full collection because the lip is a perfect nude pink and the blush gives my cheeks the perfect rosy moment.

Blush - Enchanted Mirror
Lux Liquid Lipstick - Beast

Once Upon A Dream Set

One of the boldest lip shades in this collection is this one. It is a bright pink. The highlight appears darker for tan to deep skin tones (which would look super pretty), but I was surprised by how much the shade works for my fair complexion too. It is almost like a blush with a sheen on my skin.

Highlight - Coronation
Lux Liquid Lipstick - Prince Phillip

This set is so much fun! This lip is a super berry and the blush is an in between pink and purple moment. I've been loving that shade in blushes recently so this is a winner in my book. I love Esmeralda so I'm so glad ColourPop included her this time around in the collection!

Blush - Court of Miracles
Lux Liquid Lipstick - Phoebus

This set is gorgeous and everyone thought so because it was super hard to get before selling out with the launch and restock. The blush is a deeper pink and the lip is a sultry red.

Blush - Kissin' a Frog
Lux Liquid Lipstick - Prince Naveen

Ever Ever After Set

This has another highlighter that pulls a little gold and is more like a blush topper on my skin tone. The lip shade is a peachy coral and is a fun summer shade!

Highlight - Andalasia
Lux Liquid Lipstick - Prince Edward

The light pink lipstick is beautiful, but I have to say this highlighter blew me away! It is the perfect highlight shade for fair skin and has the prettiest glow to my skin. I'm in love!

Highlight - Horse & Carriage
Lux Liquid Lipstick - Prince Charming

*Video to come on these looks

Beauty Tuesday

For my first " Beauty Tuesday", I thought I would start it off with my May Ipsy bag. If you're not familiar with Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription bag with 4-5 full and/or sample size beauty products. This June marks two years that I've received a bag. Even though some bags are hit or miss, I've continued to be subscribed so I can try out new items. I feel like Ipsy has really upped their game this year and I've loved every bag I've gotten. I'll be sharing my bag with you every month with my own personal review of the bag itself, and each product in it. I'll also blog about how certain makeup wears, feels, and my own opinion of the product. The same for skincare products, and how they work with my skin type.  I hope you enjoy my May 2017 Glam Bag (If you're interested in subscribing to Ipsy's monthly Glam Bag, I'll post the link down below). I'm more into Ipsy for the actual products and not the bags, but I'll admit the ba

Ricky's Cult Crushes // May 2018

Ricky's Cult Crushes // May 2018  You may already know, but I moved all of my subscriptions to my beauty channel: AllyBrianne   You can check out my unboxings there of all of my monthly and seasonal subscriptions.  The reason I'm posting this blog today is because I just got this months Ricky's Cult Crushes in the mail last week. I planned on filming a quick unboxing to post Sunday, but my weekend got away from me so here we are. This is only my second month receiving this subscription. I'm up in the air about it honestly. Last months ( Ricky's Cult Crushes // April 2018 ) was a good box, but sadly the pans in the eyeshadow palette kept falling out! You can see all that business in the video! I was disappointed because the shadows were great.. The packaging not so much.  If you don't know what  Ricky's Cult Crushes is... It is a $11 (now $14, I'll explain) monthly subscription that has mainly beauty items. This is a subscription throug

August Ipsy Glam Bag

If you're not familiar with Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription bag with 4-5 full and/or sample sized beauty products. I've been getting one for two and an half  years  now. I don't know what took so long this month whether it was Ipsy or just USP
