Skincare Reviews // Coola, Vasanti, Clinique, Avatara, & I Dew Care

Coola Sport White Tea Moisturizer SPF 50  $32
I took this gem with me on vacation and it did amazing! With an SPF 50 I didn’t have to worry about getting my face burnt. Who wants dry, red, and peeling skin when you have videos to film and blogs to get done? Not me! I took my skincare very seriously and this item made it super easy! Although, this has SPF is was just a moisturizer. It also felt just like a moisturizer, not oily, greasy, or film-like at all! It sank right into my skin and kept me protected. I can also say this worked with my sensitive skin well and didn't break me out at all! If you're fair, burn easily, and have sensitive skin I really recommend this product. Even if you don't, I recommend this as a great SPF moisturizer that everyone could benefit from.

Vasanti Brighten Up! Enzymatic Face Rejuvenator $29
I tried this product sometime last year and I might have done a review on it then, but it was a product I forgot about until receiving it in my Summer FabFitFun. I've been using it since and I love it! I love me a good exfoliator, but what I really like about this particular one is how gentle it is on my skin. Exfoliators with large beads really aren't great for your skin and can actually do more damage than good to it. This one still has the bead like consistency, but they're so tiny and while gently massaging it on my face it works great. My skin is left fresh, soft, smooth, and makeup application ready!

Clinique Moisture Surge $52.50
Why hasn't this product been mentioned in one of my skincare blogs yet?! I have no idea! This product has been a holy grail for months now! I stumbled across this in a TJ Maxx and had heard great things about it. Since the box was torn one side I got it for $20 off! You can't beat that. This moisturizer is more on the pricey side, but does wonders to my skin! This is a thick gel formula that I recommend at nighttime. If you have super dry alligator skin then use this day and night. If you are "dry" I recommend just at night, "combo" every other night, and "oily" 1-2 times weekly. Again that's just my recommendation on the product from experience. I fall into the "combo-to-dry" skin with the occasional oiliness. Honestly my skin is confusing and always different! I use this moisturizer (when I'm being strict about my skincare) every other night and it works great! I actually give all my skin hydration credit to this product. If I slack on skincare or start switching items up to try new things and leave this product out of the mix.. I find myself getting super dry again. I kid you not, 1-2 nights of this moisturizer gets me right back on check with skin hydration! A+++

Avatara Products
I recently tried out some products from Avatara. I had never heard of this brand until stumbling across them in Target. I bought (I'll have the exact products linked below that I tried) the under eye gel mask, lip mask, and a nose strip. You can watch my Instavideo to see them in action HERE, but let me tell you, my under eyes felt so refreshed and even brighter than before wearing them! I also loved trying out hydrogel products! They cling to your skin and make wearing eye masks so much easier! The nose strip did wonders to my blackheads and clogged pores, while the lip mask plumped and hydrated my lips! I have a couple of their face sheet masks to try now and I'm excited to because of the results from their other products! Each item I used was $3 each! Super affordable!

Lip Mask: Tart Orange Lip Mask
Nose Strip: Calm Down Nose Mask
Eye Masks: No Baggage Eye Mask

I Dew Care Disco Kitten Illuminating Diamond Peel-Off Mask $23 (for the full-size)
I mention one of their other holographic peel-off masks in a previous skincare blog, but here I am again trying out another! I can honestly say the results were the same. I really enjoyed it, but feel like if you are interested just pick what color you want and stick to one at a time. No need to get all of the holographic peel-off masks because they do the exact same thing. Unless you really are getting them because you're obsessed with skincare and trying new fun things for your socials like me.. Ha! My skin felt great, soft, smooth, all dead skin ripped away.. It really is a nice mask and fun also! You can see this mask in action HERE.

And I will be leaving this skincare reviews here. I know it's not a lot of products, but I promise more skincare blogs MORE often. I've really have gotten back into my skincare and have been loving trying new things to review. So yeah, more to come and I appreciate all the love for my skincare blogs. These are some of my absolute favorites to blog about and as it happens they're also my most read blogs.. So thank you and I hope you enjoy!

Beauty Tuesday

For my first " Beauty Tuesday", I thought I would start it off with my May Ipsy bag. If you're not familiar with Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription bag with 4-5 full and/or sample size beauty products. This June marks two years that I've received a bag. Even though some bags are hit or miss, I've continued to be subscribed so I can try out new items. I feel like Ipsy has really upped their game this year and I've loved every bag I've gotten. I'll be sharing my bag with you every month with my own personal review of the bag itself, and each product in it. I'll also blog about how certain makeup wears, feels, and my own opinion of the product. The same for skincare products, and how they work with my skin type.  I hope you enjoy my May 2017 Glam Bag (If you're interested in subscribing to Ipsy's monthly Glam Bag, I'll post the link down below). I'm more into Ipsy for the actual products and not the bags, but I'll admit the ba

Ricky's Cult Crushes // May 2018

Ricky's Cult Crushes // May 2018  You may already know, but I moved all of my subscriptions to my beauty channel: AllyBrianne   You can check out my unboxings there of all of my monthly and seasonal subscriptions.  The reason I'm posting this blog today is because I just got this months Ricky's Cult Crushes in the mail last week. I planned on filming a quick unboxing to post Sunday, but my weekend got away from me so here we are. This is only my second month receiving this subscription. I'm up in the air about it honestly. Last months ( Ricky's Cult Crushes // April 2018 ) was a good box, but sadly the pans in the eyeshadow palette kept falling out! You can see all that business in the video! I was disappointed because the shadows were great.. The packaging not so much.  If you don't know what  Ricky's Cult Crushes is... It is a $11 (now $14, I'll explain) monthly subscription that has mainly beauty items. This is a subscription throug

August Ipsy Glam Bag

If you're not familiar with Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription bag with 4-5 full and/or sample sized beauty products. I've been getting one for two and an half  years  now. I don't know what took so long this month whether it was Ipsy or just USP
