 "The Girls" Eyeshadow Palette

This was my first time using this palette and I've heard mixed emotions on the formula of these shadows. While they are gorgeous shades I had a little trouble applying them. I will have a full review on this palette soon to explain more about my experience with it.

Base: Ulta Beauty (cream shade)
Crease: Ulta Beauty (taupe shade)
Lid: Suz (purple circle)
*I took the shade Suz all over the lid. My intentions were to create a "halo" effect eye.
Middle of lid: Turbosan (blue circle)
*This was suppose to to the halo part, but the way it applied just didn't make it look good. These shade is gorgeous, so I ended up putting it over most of the lid.
*I blended the Ulta Beauty taupe shade back into the crease.
Brow bone: Ulta Beauty cream shade
Inner corner: Suz (purple circle)
*I took the Suz shade again, but this time just on the inner corner to brighten up the eyes. I also put this shade on the inner corner of the lower lash line.
I was disappointed that the look didn't turn out the way I had hoped for and that the Suz shade didn't stand out more in this look.
The end results: a smoky eye, which I'm okay with.

I had to add this shot from google since I completely forgot to get
a picture of this lipstick, but this is what I'm wearing on my lips for this look.

Beauty Tuesday

For my first " Beauty Tuesday", I thought I would start it off with my May Ipsy bag. If you're not familiar with Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription bag with 4-5 full and/or sample size beauty products. This June marks two years that I've received a bag. Even though some bags are hit or miss, I've continued to be subscribed so I can try out new items. I feel like Ipsy has really upped their game this year and I've loved every bag I've gotten. I'll be sharing my bag with you every month with my own personal review of the bag itself, and each product in it. I'll also blog about how certain makeup wears, feels, and my own opinion of the product. The same for skincare products, and how they work with my skin type.  I hope you enjoy my May 2017 Glam Bag (If you're interested in subscribing to Ipsy's monthly Glam Bag, I'll post the link down below). I'm more into Ipsy for the actual products and not the bags, but I'll admit the ba

Ricky's Cult Crushes // May 2018

Ricky's Cult Crushes // May 2018  You may already know, but I moved all of my subscriptions to my beauty channel: AllyBrianne   You can check out my unboxings there of all of my monthly and seasonal subscriptions.  The reason I'm posting this blog today is because I just got this months Ricky's Cult Crushes in the mail last week. I planned on filming a quick unboxing to post Sunday, but my weekend got away from me so here we are. This is only my second month receiving this subscription. I'm up in the air about it honestly. Last months ( Ricky's Cult Crushes // April 2018 ) was a good box, but sadly the pans in the eyeshadow palette kept falling out! You can see all that business in the video! I was disappointed because the shadows were great.. The packaging not so much.  If you don't know what  Ricky's Cult Crushes is... It is a $11 (now $14, I'll explain) monthly subscription that has mainly beauty items. This is a subscription throug

August Ipsy Glam Bag

If you're not familiar with Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription bag with 4-5 full and/or sample sized beauty products. I've been getting one for two and an half  years  now. I don't know what took so long this month whether it was Ipsy or just USP
