Tarte [Make Believe in Yourself] Mythical Pixie Crystal Pinks With Bronze Magic Tutorial + Maybelline Fit Me! Stick Foundation Review

Tarte [Make Believe in Yourself] Mythical Pixie Crystal Pinks with Bronze Magic Tutorial + Maybelline Fit Me! Stick Foundation Review:

I recently did a review on the Tarte Make Believe in Yourself  eyeshadow palette. In that review, I shared some looks that I created with it and will be sharing each of those tutorials with you. With this one, I focused on the matte pink (Myth), glitter pink (Pixie), glitter lilac (Crystal), and the bronze shade (Magic).

I prepped my skin with Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Marine Boosting Mist and added some Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser Primer on top of it. I also moisturized my lips with Maybelline Baby Lips.

I had a lot of redness, so I used Aurora Pro Color Corrector (Pistachio)
on those problem areas.

Maybelline Fit Me! Shine-Free + Balance Foundation Stick (110 Porcelain)

I've been using and loving this Maybelline Fit Me! Shine-Free + Balance Foundation Stick (110 Porcelain) for a couple months now, but I wanted to add in a full review on it in case you haven't tried it yet. What I love about this foundation is how much faster it is for me to apply my foundation than it normally is. It blends like a dream and the coverage is great for being drug-store! This is also a very buildable foundation. The down side is you only get 0.32 oz. While that isn't the greatest, it's still better than some other stick foundation and the price wins for sure!
It applies a little thick, but once you blend it out it feels light on the skin. I used a beauty blender while applying this first, but this is one of those foundations that I actually prefer a flat top brush. The second time around I used just a little more product on the places I felt needed it and then blended my entire face with a flat top brush.

These two pictures before of my "after" with just my foundation. No powder or anything yet. As you can see the coverage is there!

I concealed under my eyes and on the high points of my face with Tarte Shape Tape (fair) and used City Color HD Powder to set my face.

I primed my eyelids with Elizabeth Mott Thank Me Later and filled my brows in with ABH Brow Definer (taupe).

I blended Myth (yellow circle, which is a matte pinky mauve) all in my crease and used this as my transition. Then, I added crystal (blue circle, which is a glitter lilac color) to the outer corner and crease. On the inner to about the middle of the lid I applied pixie (brown circle, which is a glitter light pink). Once I blended that all out, I finished the eye look with adding just a little magic (green circle, which is a glitter bronze) to the outer corner/crease very light-handed and I also used the center white highlight on the brow bone and very inner corner.

I used two Ciate eye liners for this look. I used Ciate Wonderwand Gel Kohl Liner in my water line and I used Ciate Fierce Flicks Liquid Liner to create a wing. I primed my lashes with Lancome Cils Booster XL Vitamin-infused Mascara Primer and I used Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara.

I finished my face makeup with this Bh Cosmetics Nude Rose Sculpt & Glow Palette (I'll link the review on this palette below).
I used the cool-tone contour shade (next to the bronzer shade), the only blush and bronzer shade, and the pinkish highlight. I used Mac Fix + to set my look and topped it all off with some NYX Butter Gloss (Eclair).

Beauty Tuesday

For my first " Beauty Tuesday", I thought I would start it off with my May Ipsy bag. If you're not familiar with Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription bag with 4-5 full and/or sample size beauty products. This June marks two years that I've received a bag. Even though some bags are hit or miss, I've continued to be subscribed so I can try out new items. I feel like Ipsy has really upped their game this year and I've loved every bag I've gotten. I'll be sharing my bag with you every month with my own personal review of the bag itself, and each product in it. I'll also blog about how certain makeup wears, feels, and my own opinion of the product. The same for skincare products, and how they work with my skin type.  I hope you enjoy my May 2017 Glam Bag (If you're interested in subscribing to Ipsy's monthly Glam Bag, I'll post the link down below). I'm more into Ipsy for the actual products and not the bags, but I'll admit the ba

Ricky's Cult Crushes // May 2018

Ricky's Cult Crushes // May 2018  You may already know, but I moved all of my subscriptions to my beauty channel: AllyBrianne   You can check out my unboxings there of all of my monthly and seasonal subscriptions.  The reason I'm posting this blog today is because I just got this months Ricky's Cult Crushes in the mail last week. I planned on filming a quick unboxing to post Sunday, but my weekend got away from me so here we are. This is only my second month receiving this subscription. I'm up in the air about it honestly. Last months ( Ricky's Cult Crushes // April 2018 ) was a good box, but sadly the pans in the eyeshadow palette kept falling out! You can see all that business in the video! I was disappointed because the shadows were great.. The packaging not so much.  If you don't know what  Ricky's Cult Crushes is... It is a $11 (now $14, I'll explain) monthly subscription that has mainly beauty items. This is a subscription throug

August Ipsy Glam Bag

If you're not familiar with Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription bag with 4-5 full and/or sample sized beauty products. I've been getting one for two and an half  years  now. I don't know what took so long this month whether it was Ipsy or just USP
